Oh mama sorry you have started spotting, that sucks.

10dpo here and zero symptoms. Am so so tempted to test though. No idea why though as it will be too early and I don't feel the remotest bit pregnant. I need to get up and wee tomorrow before I wake up properly so I get rid of fmu!

barmybunting · 23/02/2014 19:15

Hi Everyone,

Just catching up with the news today - it's been a busy bus so far! Is anyone else champing to get to March? I've only just started the tww, 1dpo today. It took forever to get to ov in the first place, finally oved on cd25, so the tww is looking a long trek ahead! How the heck do you stay sane? I'm only on month 5 of ttc and I'm finding it hard going already... I was feeling so positive yesterday, adamant this would be our month, but I've just been watching DH playing with our friend's 17 month old LO all afternoon, and as he left, he just sighed and said "I wish we had started ttc sooner if it's going to take a while." He's usually the positive one! I'm probably not helped my my birthday last week which has made me feel a bit panicked at being a year older & not pregnant. How stupid can you get when we've only been ttc for 5 months? Hopefully tomorrow will feel more positive!

mama sorry to hear the dreaded spotting has started already. I hope the vitex starts to help soon.

I'm hoping to see some bfps on here very soon. The Feb bus has not been very kind to lots of people, so hopefully March will be a good run given it's Mothers' Day at the end of the month.

mama31 · 23/02/2014 19:21

Thanks ladies! I agree, March bus will hold wonderful news for lots of ladies I'm sure of it!!! let's try and keep it positive for this bus, I know it's hard but I do think a positive outlook really helps!!!

And even if full flow starts this week, I get another shot at the back of the March bus so will be keeping positive and hoping, wishing and praying for us all! Let's do this ladies!!!!!!

barmybunting · 23/02/2014 19:28

Right, mama you have spurred me on. I have just been poking about in the ante-natal club section yes, I stalk the ante-natal club section in a dream of being there soon! and spotted a November 2014 thread! The due in November babies have started to show up on lovely, beautiful BFPs and we will all be there soon, or starting a December 2014 thread if towards the end of the month. November and December are brilliant months and we need some Winter Babies, so lots of BFPs here we come!

I may have also finished a glass of wine in the last two minutes and be feeling slightly more merry as a result!

mama31 · 23/02/2014 19:36

Keep drinking.....i like this Barmy ;) haha!

I agree! Keeping the faith and believing it will happen is the most important thing! Granted we can't determine exactly when....but it is going to happen! so we should be enjoying our lives now as they are because it's all going to change very fast! Don't take life for granted! Enjoy it and ttc at the same time!

Bring on the March bfp's!!!!!! :)

onelifeonechance · 23/02/2014 19:43

Quite right!! Grin

We can do this ladies! And we will do this!!! However bloody hard it is and however long it takes!!!! And in the meantime we'll all keep each other company, hold each other's hands, chivvy each other up and drink wine [glass] and eat creme eggs Wink

onelifeonechance · 23/02/2014 19:44

Oh! I've obviously had too much wine already, meant to be this symbol Wine not my poor effort ;)

barmybunting · 23/02/2014 19:53

Onelife, what colour are your pom poms? I have decided to join you. Today, I am sporting green (for some reason this is the colour of fertility in my head), yellow (for sunshine, happiness and all things jolly) and blue (for those beautiful BFP lines to show up soon!) pom poms.

Keep up the pom pom shaking, creme egg eating, and wine!

I should not be starting on the second glass of wine because I am starting my new teaching post full time tomorrow and should instead be planning and panicking, instead I am enjoying a bit more wine, actually looking forward to working with my new class tomorrow and planning to go with the flow and not panic as I usually do!

mama you are right, it is going to happen and we need to enjoy life whilst we ttc!

In that spirit, does anyone have anything lovely planned to while away March/tww/waiting for ov in the next few weeks?

mama31 · 23/02/2014 19:59

Good luck for 1st day barmy! No point stressing! It will be fine!

(shakes pom poms and jumps up and down with onelife!!!!!!) woohoooooo! Yes green sounds good to me! Green fertility pom poms!!!!!! (we need to actually get these!)

mama31 · 23/02/2014 20:01

I have a couple of things planned for March, have a hotel break with my girl friends and a nice date night planned with DH at a nice trendy restaurant for a nice treat!

Also mothers day will be lovely especially with all the news bfp's on here by then!!!!!

RetroHippy · 23/02/2014 20:03

I too am feeling positive today!

Better update the stats then, RetroHippy, ttc #1, cycle 4, bfp due anywhere between 10th - 20th March Hmm

And to while away the hours in between I have a week off for half term during which I will not obsess over ttc and will absolutely not spend all my time on Google, a visit to meet my friends new twins, and the on going mission to sell our house.

Barmy, good luck!! Is this the one you were in two minds about? You'll be amazing even if you are a little hungover. Enjoy your first day at school Grin

RetroHippy · 23/02/2014 20:07

Do you think HQ will make us a green fertility pom-pom smiley?

onelifeonechance · 23/02/2014 20:08

Green it is then!!! Shake! Shake! Shaaaaaaake!!!! Mama...dare we break out a bit of PJ and Duncan for old times sake?! Wink

Good luck for tmrw barmy, you'll be great and they are lucky little things to have you!!

onelifeonechance · 23/02/2014 20:10

Ha retro! Glad it's not just me with sporting injuries!!!! We'll have to start obligatory stretching sessions before Pom Pom shaking commences!!!!

SaRaRaRaRa · 23/02/2014 20:12

'Give us a B, give us an F, give us a P'

x1 for everyone on the thread!

PolytheneGirl · 23/02/2014 20:12

Joining Barmy on the vino!! Most babies are conceives after a drunken fumble...... Right?!?! Cheers!!

Wilhelminanevillesdottir · 23/02/2014 20:13

Did someone say creme egg??

I agree mama, I should also get another shot at the end of the March bus so feeling lucky this month.

onelifeonechance · 23/02/2014 20:13

Loving the theory polythene, going with it! Wink

Treaclepie19 · 23/02/2014 20:14

Good luck Barmy! :)

I'm having back to school nerves haha.

lindamagoo · 23/02/2014 20:17

Evening ladies, hope you are all well. I think I may be on 1dpo now, I only stopped the pill on valentines day but all the signs indicate I may have ov'd yesterday, which going by my cycles would be exactly right Smile so I guess I'm now on my first 2ww of ttc again, mega excited, lol

RetroHippy · 23/02/2014 20:23

I think we're all getting a little drunk spring fever today! Definitely need to limber up first onelife. Might help, pre-DTD warm up and cheerleading sessions Grin

Welcome linda

lindamagoo · 23/02/2014 20:26

Thank you Retro, I'll take the pom poms but I'm not so sure I can join in with too much jumping around! Have a rather delicate head on today after way too much wine last night

barmybunting · 23/02/2014 20:32

mama you sound like you have a lovely March planned! Between a hotel break with your girl friends and a date night planned with DH, you have a nice little slot in for your bfp there to share the news. What are you planning to do on your girly break?

Retro only google the positive things! Half term obsession is allowed when it is for positive bfp stories! Enjoy your visit to your friend's twins, lots of cuddles I hope! And good luck with the house sale. Do you have somewhere to move to when you sell?

Thanks for the good luck! I am hoping all goes swimmingly tomorrow (this also includes DH's sperm contribution which I am willing to my waiting egg at the moment of course!). I promise I won't be hungover tomorrow retro Smile, those poor kids if I was! My second glass of wine is actually my second white wine spritzer with about 1/4 glass of wine and huge vats of soda water, but as I haven't drunk very much recently and I am feeling a tad 'stuff it' about new job and planning, it is making me rather merry! Yes, this is the one I was in two minds about. But DH and I have had multiple chats about it, and I have decided my new focus in life is to go with the flow and stop worrying so much, so I decided to just go for the job and see how I got on! If it's not the right place for me, it'll be a useful bit of experience, the kids and I will enjoy it until the summer and then I'll meander off and find somewhere else that is right. I fully intend to me on maternity leave come October half term anyway so I am hoping it is all just speculation and I will a)love it and b)just head off on maternity leave and not worry about it for too long anyway!

Goodness I waffle, sorry!

any suggestions of what we can sing to? We need some music!

Polythene good going on the vino! wilhemina creme eggs are good!

treacle join us on the vino! It has banished any nerves here Smile! I hope you have a good day tomorrow!

mama31 · 23/02/2014 20:38

"Let's get reaaaddddyyyy to rummmmmbbllee!!!!"

(breaks in to pj and duncan dance with onelife) love it!!!!!

Loving all this positivity! Let's be sure to keep it up all month! Good thoughts = Good things!!!!

Barmy I'm off on a spa break! If no bfp by then though I think spa may be code for wine! ;)

mama31 · 23/02/2014 20:39

I feel a tad left out though, drinking hot choc instead of wine! I did have plenty fri and sat though!
