Temping experts

I'm on 12dpo and saw a drop in temp this morning from 36.66 to 36.23 (cover line is at 36.18). I assumed AF is on her way but when I've just checked my temp now (5.15pm) after lying still for half an hour I've got much higher readings (3 readings in 10mins from 36.61-36.93).

Should I still expect AF due to BBT temp this morning or am I still in with a chance as my afternoon readings are much higher?

Clearly I'm holding on to any hope for BFP so feel free to give me a sharp shock of reality if you think it's just false hope and AF is imminent.

I'm not sure those afternoon readings would count? Half an hour of still is not enough I do not think. Sorry, I'm not an expert, but from what I've read it has to be the temp on waking and even broken sleep can affect it.

I have also read that is is very difficult to tell if you are pregnant from temp charts so maybe just see how the next few days pan out. I used to just temp until the OV day, then ditch the thermometer for that very reason, plus I personally found it stressful.

Good luck. Hope that temp dip is irrelevant and it's your month.. :)
