Hazel, much has been said already. But I would defo try and get a good article on sperm count and alcohol. Also it takes 3 months for something good to happen, so he should cut back now as you won't see the benefit for 3 months. Much like if he starts to take vitamins, the benefit will be in 3 months time (roughly). I think a chat with him is fair enough - you are in this together surely. And of course there is the age old truth that your lifestyle changes dramatically when you fall pregnant, not his, even down to how many cups of tea you can drink and what cheese to have!!
Is there a male friend of yours you can trust to voice your concerns to that can chat to him man to man? Just an idea, that he might listen to a guy rather than a 'nagging wife'.... Good luck though, it can't be easy for you.

Yep 2 lines (3 if you count this morning) but all from same ic batch (could be dodgy??)

My massive temp drop yesterday really made me think AF was on her way. That and chocolate cravings, cramps and the usual sore boobs.

Going to have to do more tests tomorrow. I won't believe it until I actually see the words on a digi!

hazel it took about 6 months of bfn before my dp really started to take it seriously. I think most men don't question their ability to procreate!

I'm down to 2 hpts in the cupboard, and working the next three days so won't be able to get any more.

Have now resorted to peeing on OPKs just to fulfil my need to pee on something.

Someone needs to stage an intervention. I'm not sodding pregnant Angry

Hi everyone! Not too late to join I hope. Congratulations to those of you with a BFP and fingers crossed for the rest of you (whether this or next month).

Jan was our first month of TTC and not sure of my dates as I've only had one normal AF since coming off the pill and last cycle was 40d. In theory my 2WW is a 3WW depending on whether my cycle was 28d as it used to be or 40d so trying to chill out about it. Obviously that's not happening and I'm googling 'early pregnancy symptoms' daily!

Sorry your having a rough time hazel. Tell DH your not ttc until you feel he is ready, say you don't want an argument but will resume ttc when he is being a bit more realistic. Oh and yes an accidental page open in a magazine about how alcohol impacts sperm count would prob not hurt either ;) hugs and good luck! I'm sure he will come round!

Well, finally af is in full flow!! Hurrah for that!!! Now praying for it to bugger off by Friday! It's certainly a possibility but cutting it fine!!!!

I'm off this bus before I even got on! AF arrived in full force this afternoon after fannying about since Friday and giving me false hope! Looking ahead to next cycle now. Onwards and upwards! Good luck to all the Feb bus passengers, I'll lurk because I like seeing all the BFPs. Xx
