i am really hoping for a BFP in 10 days for the wonderful month of love what a great valentines present that would be :) i have been quite crampy today and i am only 4dpo and i never get cramps other than the first/second day of my period so i am hoping there is some baby magic going on downstairs!!

missmrsmummy · 16/02/2014 19:32

Hope so Emily I am always wondering what is going on inside! Wish I could see... but that would probably make me even more crazy!

RhiBee29 · 16/02/2014 19:42

6dpo today still having some imaginary symptoms, ic's due to arrive Tuesday so considering prob will testing before my flight Thursday. I know it's early...

Littlebear81 · 16/02/2014 21:47

Cd46, still no AF and getting BFN. No symptoms either way! Confused

I completely agree and wish I could see inside! Not sure if I ovulated late or not at all. We've just decided to keep DTD every couple of days and test every few weeks just in case.

SIL announced she's pregnant today which wasn't a surprise and I thought it might upset me but I was really pleased for them. Was thinking that hopefully they will have a cousin close in age! Wonder if I'll be feeling so positive in another week if still the same situation!

missmrsmummy · 16/02/2014 21:49

That's crazy bear. I really feel for you having to wait with no clue either way. Hope something happens soon! Have you been to GP?

MrsExtraOrdinary · 16/02/2014 21:59

Af due Tuesday. Think it will def be af and not bfp. Not too sad this month. I knew it would be a long road. Got the usual signs. It's half term so plenty of distractions this week, inc taking my eldest son to college for taster sessions! I can't believe he's 16 this year. I expect his national insurance number will be in the post any day, just to make me feel old Grin

Littlebear81 · 16/02/2014 22:09

No not yet. Only came off pill end of Nov and had a normal AF at the start of Jan so thought things had got back to normal nice and quickly. Assuming it's just taking a bit longer for my body to settle down after the pill

Treaclepie19 · 16/02/2014 22:21

I'm going crazy not knowing where af is. Does anyone have advice on this? Is it possible to ger bfn's and then bfp after 20dpo? Seems so unlikely. Obviously google says its possible.

MrsExtraOrdinary · 16/02/2014 22:59

Treacle I did have this once. I didn't get a positive test until I was nearly 6/7 wks pg. problem was it was timed from a break through bleed while on pill.

I'll start from the beginning. I was getting married and period due so thought a heavy period and a white train 5 skirts worth as a bad combo. I asked the gp for a couple of weeks supply of pill to postpone my period until I got off honeymoon. Bloody af turned up the day before the wedding with a vengeance. That was a highly amusing situ with my sister a wedding dress champagne and a tampax, but that's for another thread! So my pg was timed from 28th June, I had him on 13th April. Which made me 10 days over my due date. But it was a silly period timed from a combination of pill juice and wedding jitters. I tested about a million times before it came up bfp. But the cya I went to see my friend and hold her new born I absolutely knew! H was not impressed even though it was planned. Thankfully I have a much improved version in new dh these days. So just saying it can happen!

MrsExtraOrdinary · 16/02/2014 23:02

I would add my lazy bfp turned into a lazy labour (born in bag of waters) and exceptionally sleepy lazy good well behaved baby! Very laid back!

Maybe go to the gp and ask for blood tests to see what hormone levels are doing.

Treaclepie19 · 16/02/2014 23:04

Thank you mrs :)
Nice to have a bit of hope when I feel like this.

Going to the toilet was bad enough in my wedding dress, how on earth did you manage with your period?! Haha.

Treaclepie19 · 16/02/2014 23:05

I think I will if af hasn't turned up by thurs/fri :)

MrsExtraOrdinary · 17/02/2014 00:10

Treacle is was all fairly historical after we'd all been at the champagne! It involved dsis and bfrd holding my dress over my head. They couldn't see what I was doing on down the business end thankfully! We were all laughing hysterically, then my auntie came into the next cubicle, and we froze. Auntie sat on the loo and promptly trumped very loudly, which sent us into more giggles! 3 women, 5 skirts and a tampax! I defy anyone to not find that funny! Grin

Zermatt · 17/02/2014 05:10

morning everyone waves

I use an app for charting called ovufriend, (I really like it actually), well I just twigged at the weekend that it gives you points each day depending on what symptoms you've logged, giving you an overall score out of 100 for the likelihood of you being pregnant. Since I realised this I think I've been putting down symptoms I'm not really having or having only slightly as it makes me feel better when the score keeps going up, big daftie.

barmybunting · 17/02/2014 06:44

Morning!

Today feels more cheerful than yesterday thankfully! DH heads away until Thurs night today so sod's law will no doubt have me ovulating in the next few days so I was determined to DTD first thing this morn to try to hang onto his useful stuff as long as I can! I was so concerned about this that I kept waking up to check the clock, poor DH! Wink

zermett I am off to check out ovufriend, that sounds like a great app for the tww! I would be putting all sorts in too.

littlebear sorry you are in limbo. It's rubbish as you wait! For some perspective, my first cycle off the pill was 28 days, second was 53 horrible days, but third was a much more normal 34 days so hopefully you'll see your cycle settle down soon.

treacle that's taking forever for you! If nothing appears over the next few days, go to the dr maybe.

Sounds hilarious mrs, hehe :)
I could barely fit in the cubicle in my dress...

Thanks barmy, i will go late this week if still no af.

Owlie84 · 17/02/2014 07:11

Ooh, Ovufriend sounds good, I'll have to check that out!
Sorry you're still in limbo, Treacle and LittleBear, I hope your BFP / AF arrives soon. Hope more for the former though!

I've had a bit of an upset tummy for the last day, feel a bit sick and have had to go the the loo about 3 times yesterday (iykwim). I'm 9dpo today and AF isn't due til Saturday, or Monday if I listen to Fertility Friend. Anyone else had this? Or just a dodgy meal?

Zermatt · 17/02/2014 07:19

Yeah Owlie and Barmy I recommend it, actually prefer it to fertility friend, only downside is you can't get it as an app, just have to use it via their web page, my free trial ends tomorrow (just shy of AF/BFP, the canny sods) might pay for 1 more month. I'm on 30 out of 100 at 9dpo so not too hopeful.

toots123 · 17/02/2014 07:20

Morning! Sorry your still in limbo treacle!

Today im 15dpo and bfn so looks like im out

the only thing im clinging to is that I had what I thought was IB Thursday and Friday morning and ive read wait 3-5 days after that to test.

but I know im out and waiting on af.... Sad

toots123 · 17/02/2014 07:29

Just looked at the test again and there's something there.

either the faintest line or evap line (I think evap line!)

Zermatt · 17/02/2014 07:30

Ah toots I hope it's not an evap line! What kind of test did you use and what color is the line?

EnglishGirlAbroad · 17/02/2014 07:31

That sounds hilarious MrsExtra!!
Hope it turns out to be good news for you treacle.

I'm 12dpo today, temp drop and some very AF like cramps so think the bitch will arrive today or tomorrow as expected Hmm. Still hoping though...

toots123 · 17/02/2014 07:37

It was an amazon cheapie zermatt and I think it was grey Sad

Previous cycles were 37&35today im cd 38 so will test again in a few days if no af...

Zermatt · 17/02/2014 07:39

It must be so frustrating, but FX you get a clear answer and hopefully a BFP v soon

Treaclepie19 · 17/02/2014 07:41

Thanks toots and owlie. Bfn again.

Toots, careful with those cheapies. I get a pink evap line everytime after 2 hours or so of the test being done. Think its just me though haha.
