treacle perhaps some of her baby dust will rub off on you, try to stay hopeful, easier said than done!

Having some imaginary symptoms today, cramps that woke me up and DH had to get out of bed coz I was radiating too much heat #allinmyhead

Treaclepie19 · 16/02/2014 09:36

I hope so!
Im fetermined not to use internet cheapies next month. Getting evap lines every time. Pink smudges an hour or so after taking the test.

Not helping!

Ooo fingers crossed its a good sign for you Rhi :)

SkylerRose · 16/02/2014 09:42

Found it. Thanks English Smile

toots123 · 16/02/2014 09:54

Treacle when will you poas?

Af is due today but didnt test. Might test tomorrow or Tuesday if no af :)
Im convinced I had IB Thursday and Friday so everything is crossed for the next few days to have some good news

KittyVonCatsington · 16/02/2014 10:08

Woke up nauseous again today. If it's just progesterone, I will scream. Have also finally broken DH too-first time he said no to DTD! Will try again tonight Wink

What a horrible waiting game, Treacle. Do you have any other symptoms apart from AF not appearing?

SnowBells · 16/02/2014 10:17

OK, I think I am officially our of the February race. Sad Surprisingly, even after my mammoth cycle last month, the apps I use were right as to when AF was going to kick in. Right on time today after a fairly normal-length cycle.

Better luck next month!

Off to get onto the March hare bus...

KittyVonCatsington · 16/02/2014 10:28

Have a nice drink over Sunday lunch, Snowbells, and just think-March will be your month (it helped me to think that last time AF appeared). Lots of virtual hugs

babytinks89 · 16/02/2014 10:29

Gl to everyone still waiting on the bfp this month Thanks
15dpo for me bfn this morning!! not really disappointed i had no symptoms.... But hey, march bus might be my month!!
More opks bought let the af arrive and get on with it again!!

Treaclepie19 · 16/02/2014 10:31

toots i tested this morning, bfn :(

SIL and BIL announced they are trying too. I know its wrong but I will be so pissed off if they get pg first...

barmybunting · 16/02/2014 10:33

Highly confused today. cd20 here and still no sign of ov apart from one random flashing smiley last weekend which I think was wrong. Looks like this is going to be another long cycle!

OP posts:
KittyVonCatsington · 16/02/2014 10:35

SIL and BIL announced they are trying too. See, I just don't feel comfortable anouncing to people you are TTC-just feel it is weird announcing to people you are going to be DTD lots and lots!!! That's why I love this forum. Maybe I'm just a prude Wink

KittyVonCatsington · 16/02/2014 10:45

Don't know if this will help, barmy, but this cycle, I noticed that although I kept getting a flashing smilies from CBDigis, a second line kept getting stronger when I took the stick out the holder. I was getting pinches in my left side so decided to do another test at about 4pm (as well as the FMU that day) and got a solid smiley with a second line the same darkness as the control line. Next morning with FMU, the second line was faint. This was on CD18. Therefore, if I had stuck with CB's advice of only FMU, I would have missed my positive result. Maybe this happened to you? Keep DTD anyway just in case, it could still be your cycle!!

missmrsmummy · 16/02/2014 10:48

Morning everyone! Where are the mystery AFs/BFPs? Sorry to those waiting. So frustrating.

I have no symptoms whatsoever. I'm 7dpo and AF due Tues but I've changed tablets to WellWoman to try and lengthen my luteal phase. May be too late this cycle but worth a try!

Dreading the sight of AF to be honest :-/

missmrsmummy · 16/02/2014 10:49

Wow Kitty that's interesting to know. So easy to miss ov!

barmybunting · 16/02/2014 10:54

Thanks kitty that does make sense. I'm glad you caught it! I've been checking the lines as well, but the second line is still very faint so either I've missed ov, which I don't think I have, or I haven't oved yet. The later is more likely, I oved last month around cd22 so I guess this month will be similar. But I don't having any sign of the usual cm etc that I normally would by now so I'm confused. I'll keep looking for the lines and do another opk in the afternoon to back them up I think. Thanks, that's a good idea.

Looking back at my last six cycles or so, I've noticed that I seem to have odd, long cycles on alternate cycles and this is one of those alternate months so who knows! DH is away Mon-Thurs this week and Tues-Fri the following week so I think we are probably not in with a good chance for this cycle but time will tell I guess Smile .

I've decided I'm giving it until Easter and then I'm off to the doctor if my cycles haven't settled down. The ttc bit isn't driving me as mad as the completely irregular cycles and given it's now 8 odd months I've been off the pill, I'm getting concerned something else is going on. Feeling a bit fed up today with this business. Oh the joys of ttc Smile .

missmrsmummy · 16/02/2014 11:01

Yes sounds frustrating barmy. Mother Nature is so unpredictable!

Has anyone else been on Depo? This is my 12th month off it. So I suppose it was unlikely I'd get pg before now.

Treaclepie19 · 16/02/2014 11:01

Kitty thats what we said! Why is it suddenly ok to announce you are having as much sex as possible??

barmybunting · 16/02/2014 11:19

missmrs how long have you been ttc out of those 12 months off depo? I have to admit I would be struggling with that long if I am as bad as I am now after only 6 months of ttc/8 months off the pill.

Yes, mother nature is a pain sometimes! I just need a bit of a kick today really! It's my birthday next Friday, and for some reason I was so sure I would be pregnant by then but now I'm worrying I won't even be preg by next year's birthday so I'm just feeling a bit annoyed by it today. Stupid process!! I know how many people struggle for years to conceive so I really have nothing to complain about and need to stop fussing!

My parents are visiting this week and my Mom will not stop going on about how they are not getting any younger and they want grandchildren desperately so when are we going to get on with it. (they don't know we are ttc.) This may perhaps be a big part of my annoyance today although I should know better, she has been going on about grandchildren since well before DH and I were engaged, let alone married, possibly since I was about 22 so I should be used to it by now Wink .

OP posts:
missmrsmummy · 16/02/2014 11:29

Aw yes it's so hard when thinking of your parents. I want to have grandchildren while they are still healthy and can enjoy them.

I'm I'm only on cycle 3 but feels like forever!

Hope you start to feel better about it all soon barmy. I'm a bit fed up too Sad

barmybunting · 16/02/2014 11:30

I can only laugh. DH and I are waiting for my parents to get ready so we can go out. I am stewing about irregular cycles, looking up ttc nonsense; DH is online looking up new houses for sale and ordering fancy coffee... I want to be a man, or really, I want to think like a man some days Smile .

Sorry to see some bfns appearing this morning. Very frustrating for you. This announcement of ttc from a SIL and BIL, please tell me it wasn't on facebook, but rather to family? Even that would feel strange too me!

OP posts:
barmybunting · 16/02/2014 11:35

Cycle 3 is long enough missmrs, each one seems to feel longer as well! I hope this is your last one because your bfp appears this week! I'm sorry you're feeling fed up today too. Cups of tea, chocolate, cuddles from my cat and a good book is usually my answer to feeling eugh. I hope you have a lovely way to spend the day planned!

OP posts:
Treaclepie19 · 16/02/2014 11:35

Yeah it was to family but still odd. I know they will go round telling everyone...

barmybunting · 16/02/2014 11:41

Hopefully they conceive quickly then or it will be hard going on them! 3 of my closest friends know we are ttc as it came up in conversation but I have to say I'm regretting telling one of them now to be honest. The other 2 would always have been told as I would tell them if we were struggling anyway but the other I'm not sure. It would be even harder if you had told family.

missmrsmummy · 16/02/2014 11:41

Someone mentioned spotting earlier but now I can't find it - if you get spotting before AF do you count it as Cd1? Or do you wait until AF fully arrives?

The last 2 cycles I have had 3 days of spotting before proper AF but I have counted those as AF (so I've had really short cycles of 24 days and really long periods). If I didn't count the spotting as AF I would have a longer cycle and even better, a longer luteal phase.

What do you girls think? Would you count spotting as CD1?

barmybunting · 16/02/2014 11:50

My understand is that the first day of full flow is CD1. Record spotting but don't count it as cd1. Apparently that's how fertility clinics count it for ivf etc so that was how I've gone for it.

If it gives you a longer LP as well, that is great!
