Thanks English will try to resist, bfp due the day after we get back. Got visions of my bag being emptied at customs and the stick being waved about for all to see so probably won't take one with me. Just disheartening having to pack tampons just in case!

Signed off for another 2 weeks, no thanks to my new unsupportive GP.

He told me to decide whether I want to leave my job! I've only been off 2 weeks and hardly in the frame of mind to be making decisions like that!

17/18dpo today. No af and bfn.

Hmm Treacle I don't know what to advise! Where is af or bfp?? Never happened to me as AF is always on time or early!

He is a new GP. Quite young. I've requested a phonecall from my usual Dr as I've been left feeling like a bit of a fraud! Hopefully she can reassure me.

I really don't know :( af will probably turn up tomorrow as last month i had a really short cycle so i guess this month its going back to normal? Doesn't match up with ovulation then though. So annoying as I've always had regular cycles :(

MissMrs, glad you got signed off for a bit longer and that your usual dr has reassured you. But massive twat of a young doctor can do one! Think they need to teach new drs bedside manners these days. I had a completely useless dr last time I went, I practically diagnosed myself and he went along with it! Knob!

Treacle, sorry you're in limbo, hope one or the other (preferably not AF) come soon enough. In the mean time I'd allow yourself a glass of wine.

Feeling a bit better today thank you barmy just so pleased its Friday!! It is too early for me to test ATM, due on 23rd at the latest (going on previous cycles). Thinking I will probably test 21st/22nd.

I think you are right kitty about symptoms being the same for ovulation and pregnancy. I've never looked out for ovulation signs before but now that I am I will be noticing every little thing! Not sure what dpo I am as not using opks. If I don't fall within 3-4 months I will probs start using them though.

On a lighter note, I was awoken in the early hours of this morning by dh sleep talking. He was telling me if I went for a wee I would be pregnant! Maybe he knows something I don't ha!

well in a not so great start to valentines day, im feeling vaguely seasick. another week to go for me though, and not particularly hopeful this month, so suspect more of an ear infection than a passenger. pita though!

Don't know if you remember, missmrs, when last cycle, I threw up and was getting excited(for obvious reasons...)? I feel exactly the same today and I'm not that many dpo, so it must mean i'm going to feel this bad every month until a BFP. Feel very fed up as at least with a BFP, you know something good is coming out of it! Enjoy Valentine's Day with your DH/DPs this evening, girls-if we don't get any BFPs today, we might get some conceptions!

12 dpo and ive got the faintest line ever on a ebay cheapy. I've put a thread on chat with a pic as im not sure if its a evap or very early bfp! I feel like af is coming though.

Tentative congrats Brian! Think that feeling of AF is very common in early pregnancy so hope it is that!! Fx for you!

Yes MissMrs as I believe many people get cramping in early pregnancy, it's implantation, the uterus stretching etc and feels like mild AF. I think basically many early pregnancy symptoms can also be AF coming, and vice versa.
