Reflexology report: apparently my solaplexes sp? Were really tight, which would point towards my thyroid etc. Ovaries, shoulder, lower back and bowel all suspect areas. No surprise there had too much bowel surgery last year Hmm

Altogether very relaxing!

missmrsmummy · 13/02/2014 10:53

Solar plexus Mrs think it's near diaphragm under your ribs. Hopefully the reflexology will help all those niggles you have. Glad it was relaxing Smile

smorgasborgen · 13/02/2014 10:58

barmybunting · 13/02/2014 11:49

Congratulations Bingo! It's lovely to see some more bfps today, we had been too quiet! Will you tell DP/DH?

Glad the reflexology went well Extraordinary. It sounds like she had a good go and relaxing you so hopefully it will help.

missmrs are you off next week for half term? If you think you need longer off, make sure you do that. Don't go back too early, only when you feel ready.

missmrsmummy · 13/02/2014 12:11

barmy yes my sick note runs out tomorrow and it's half term next week but I'm hoping for another sick note. I'm too up and down at the mo to consider going back Sad

mama31 · 13/02/2014 12:33

Ladies just a quick tip! Check our carolinecain.com shows a video of how to do a few simple reflexology motions on your hand to boost fertility. Interesting!

BingoBango85 · 13/02/2014 12:43

barmybunting · 13/02/2014 16:59

missmrs if you're not ready to go back, insist on that sick note. Hopefully the gp will be supportive but don't take no for an answer. Is your gp ok normally? I hope it's simple for you. Your health is more important any day. I'm thinking of you.

I've come for a bit of a mutter if that's ok. Is it just me or do some of you find that some people just have no clue about how sensitive a subject ttc is?

A close friend started ttc a month or so after us, we had spoken about it often and both knew the other was ttc. Her and her DH were lucky enough to conceive on cycle 1 and she is now about 16 weeks, we are delighted for them but I will admit to being a tad envious. We speak often although we don't live near each other since DH and I moved over Christmas. I had backed off from the ttc chat since she announced her pregnancy but thought she knew we were finding it quite tough. But today she's text me basically saying "any updates Mrs?" I replied and just said something along the lines of "Smile nothing new here, but at least I can drink wine on my birthday next week!" Her reply was basically to tell me that we can't be having enough sex and need to get more practise in! I could only reply with a smile to be honest, I didn't know what else to say. I think it was probably meant in jest and I've taken it the wrong way but goodness how I envy her theory, and that's after we've only been trying for 6 months which I realise is short for some people!

EnglishGirlAbroad · 13/02/2014 17:26

Barmy, I know EXACTLY how you feel. 3 of my friends all started TTC at the same time as me and now they're all upduffed they're suddenly the fucking messiah of TTC! Keep telling me to have more sex... I'm having plenty, more than enough!! And a few have sent me the 'any news' text, to which I reply no stiiiiil trying - in a hope they might feel guilty and stop asking!

barmybunting · 13/02/2014 17:32

English I'm glad it's not just me, thanks for sharing. I had to laugh at the messiah description, I like that! Stupid suggestions about more sex and enjoying the practise do not help!

barmy my usual GP is lovely but I couldn't get an appt with her so I've got the new guy - bit nervous. Never met him before

Treaclepie19 · 13/02/2014 18:41

Barmy and engliah, ive had the same. Bsst friend is 14 weeks prefnant. Started ttc around the same time as me. When i said no news she said "oh well, theres no rush"... Argh!!!
Congrats on the bfp bingo!
Still no af and bfn. 16/17 dpo.

Moffit · 13/02/2014 18:46

Congratulations Smiling & Bingo!!

sazzlehopes · 13/02/2014 18:50

Oh barmy it's so true. After 14 months I wanted to punch most of my friends all dropping preggo like it was no big deal and then having the nerve to 'coach' me on it. And then announce on fb with their smug baby photo and then whinge about a bit of tiredness or morning sickness. I've learnt a lot after ttc for so long and would never be so insensitive. If I'm lucky enough to make it to 12 weeks I've decided to not put baby pic on fb this time. My true and close friends will all know I'm preggo and I'm not worried about those that won't and I don't want to rub it in the faces of those that might be really struggling ttc. This is just my personal take on it, I'm obviously not preaching that people shouldn't share happy news on fb-it's just after my particular difficult experience that is how I feel!!!

Moffit · 13/02/2014 18:55

I'm more of a lurker than a poster, but feeling down and need some............well I'm not really sure what I need (probably a kick up the arse and a slap in the face)!! I did a FRER test on wednesday which was 12dpo and was a clear negative. Then later in the day I started cramping and convinced AF was going to start. Well still nothing happening and I'm usually like clockwork 28 days, with spotting the day before, which should be today. Not really had any cramps since. I've been really moody the last two days which again I'm assuming will be AF, but is there any chance this could be realated to pregnancy? I don't 'feel' pregnant but then I didn't either of the last two times I was pregnant, and Ive only ever tested when late, so this is a new concept for me with the early testing. I love my DH to pieces, but he doen't understand my ttc pain of the negative result!! Thanks for reading, I feel a bit better writing it down.

Spotti · 13/02/2014 18:56

Yay for smiling and bingo. So pleased for you and just a little bit jealous. Bingo, what did your DH say?

RhiBee29 · 13/02/2014 19:08

4 different people have asked me when im goin to get upduffed this week, not even close friends, I feel like saying "back off I am friggin trying my best" but I don't want to announce that I'm ttc, grrr I would never ask that question it's too personal! I was even told to get a move on as I'm getting on a bit...I'm 29!

moffit what dpo are you now? Are you going to poas again?
