I got a negative this morning and a positive this afternoon, but used a CB Digi with FMU first thing and a forelife opk cheapie at about 2pm this afternoon. Have had other signs that I'm close to ov as well.

I would recommend testing twice a day.

sazzlehopes · 06/02/2014 11:45

Yes I did missmrs actually this month was my first testing both. So cd 13 peak on my cbfm and same cd14 but not a strong line on ic which made me doubt them, then just for fun as i'm a poas addict i kept going with the ic but not my cbfm because after peak it automatically drops to high then to low. But on cd 15 i got a really strong postive on ic in the afternoon so we kept dtd a bit longer... Hope that helps.

missmrsmummy · 06/02/2014 11:47

Thanks Zermatt!

Ok I'm hoping I have just missed it, though I'm confused as to why I have no signs?? Keep prodding my boobs but they are just normal.

If no bfp this month I will get some cheapies stocked up for next cycle!

I have read some stories of people who got negatives on their opk but got a bfp. So hoping I'm one of them!

But I'm not getting my hopes up at all...obviously!

missmrsmummy · 06/02/2014 11:49

Oh thank you sazzle, that's useful to know Smile

Good job you kept testing or you might have missed that last peak!

toots123 · 06/02/2014 13:02

Looking for some advice. Feel free to give me a slap if I'm being too hopeful. Last month I knew when I ov'd (pain and ewcm couldn't have been anything else) af came 26 days later BUT I did get what ccould have been implantation bleed two weeks after ov. Wondering if implantation happened but wasnt a sticky bean. Didnt test around then as wasnt sure about cycles
this month though, af is due a week on Saturday so could be a bfp if we have done it at the right time

probably pointless looking back but ita on my mind so thought I would ask you all for advice :)

MrsNutjob · 06/02/2014 13:48

Erm, hello Blush. May I join the bus? I've often watched the buses go by, but haven't had the courage to get on - never know where they're going, see.

I'm 36, TTC#1, sort of been trying for about 18 months, but not really because DH is overseas a lot. This hasn't stopped me getting increasingly mental and turning symptom spotting into an olympic sport. AF is due on 11th, which is coincidentally my 37th Birthday. Feeling massively negative about my chances and my increasing 'maternal matureness' while also ridiculously hopeful that the new symptoms I've spotted this month MUST mean I'm pregnant, even thought almost no one else on the whole of the internet has had them.

Did I mention I'm mental?

Good luck and baby dust and stuff to everyone on the bus :)

SnowBells · 06/02/2014 13:48

missmrsmummy

I don't get any positive opk either...

barmybunting · 06/02/2014 14:49

Congratr Mammy!

Nice to hear how your are getting on sazzle!

I went back to the blue haired reflexologist for my second session this morning. I can't help mention the blue hair as it sticks up Marge Simpson style and is very intense! Anyway, the reflexology was a)sore and b) a bit strange because about half an hour in, she started muttering under her breath about early menopause. Given she was a nurse before she became a reflexologist, and the fact I am the grand of age of 27 and thus no where near menopause I hope, I didn't like the menopause chat!! She must have seen my face though because all of a sudden, she started flapping her hands and saying she didn't mean me, she was talking about a medical v. reflexology response to an irregular cycle. I was a tad confused! Anyway, she carried on and just said she'd been working on my hormone glands as things felt sluggish to her so hopefully it would wake things up and get my cycles more regular. She has suggested I go back before af is due again but I thought you weren't supposed to go between ov and af in hope of a bfp so I will see what happens with the timing of ov I guess. Good luck to the others going today Smile .

Barmy that would have freaked me out!! Crazy Marge Simpson reflexology lady!! Hope all her prodding works wonders for you. I'm definitely going to try it next cycle, would have tried it this time if i hadnt been thrown half way into this cycle!

Sazzle, glad eveything so far is going well, hope the next 3 weeks flys by for you.

Toots i/b is usually 6-12 days after ov, two weeks would prob be a little too long after.

Mammy2be comgratulations!! Maybe if we all change our name to mammy2be1, mammy2be2^ etc etc we'll all get our bfp!! Wishful thinking!!

missmrsmummy · 06/02/2014 16:18

Hi snow sorry you've not had a positive opk yet Sad Just hope we have had one that got missed by the test!

sazzlehopes · 06/02/2014 16:22

I just ate a creme egg and blame you Mama!

Barmy - how strange?! Well I hope all works for you despite marge and her mutterings...i think i would have been mighty freaked out by early menopause chat! yes i'm not sure about going inbetween ov and af, perhaps during af to make it better and more efficient perhaps?

mama31 · 06/02/2014 16:41

Sazzle! I can't take responsibility every time someone eats a creme egg!!! Haha!!! Hope your doing good!!!

I'm looking forward to my reflexology session on Monday night!!!! :) started vitex and maca also in the hope to balance my crazy hormones/spotting! Hope cycle 9 is the lucky one!

barmybunting · 06/02/2014 16:42

English hopefully there won't be a next cycle as you'll have your bfp but it's worth keeping in mind.

sazzle creme eggs are good for you in pregnancy I hear Wink .

Thanks, I'll see how ov works out time wise and cancel the next appointment if I need to. hoping so!

sazzlehopes · 06/02/2014 16:43

Ha Mama! Oh please take responsibility!!! Grin
I took maca too up to ov - have you bought pills or powder? I found I had more energy with it, and read it was great to balance hormones, and sort out pmt and also amazing for boys too, improves swimmer quality. My DH took it in tablet form every day too just incase...

Gingerbreadlady1 · 06/02/2014 16:43

mama it's supposed to take a good while before they build up enough in your system. However, I got my long lost AF a week after starting them (on 2 occasions). Hope if helps!

sazzlehopes · 06/02/2014 16:49

Yes Ginger is right - I know you don't want to hear this and you so deserve your bfp this month, but don't give up with these things - and also your DH (if he's taking vits and maca) it takes 3 months for something to work so persevere for at least 3 months before deciding if they don't work for you... I'm sure that's why we got a bfp after 14 months because after 10 nothing, then for the last 4 we really upped our game with vits etc. My OH is a veggie too and massively upped his protein intake and took wellmans and maca etc (he was practically rattling from extra tablets!!) and I'm sure it took 4 moths to take effect - and the magic reflexology of course!!

EnglishGirlAbroad · 06/02/2014 16:53

I've just ordered vitex too, hoping I won't have to take as by the time it comes I should be into my 2ww. But can't harm having it all here just in case!! Might get some macca too!! DH can have some!
We'll all be rattling!!
Really hope I won't need any of these extra measures though....oh please little fertility fairy grant us with BFPs!Smile

toots123 · 06/02/2014 17:05

Thanks English im clutching at straws! Haha

only 4dpo and over thinking everything already :)

Treaclepie19 · 06/02/2014 18:01

mama you must take responsibility as ive got a pack of 4 creme eggs!!! :p

missmrs i didnt feel like i ovulated but tested with fmu each day and got my peak.

Congrats mammy2be! :)

PosyFossilsShoes · 06/02/2014 18:11

Hello all, I'm joining the Feb bus although I'm fairly sure I'm not preg (BFN today but only 9 DPO so no surprise - although I have v short cycles). Should find out in the next couple of days one way or the other.

I'm TTC #1 so no experience at all - friends say they "just knew" or "could feel" when they were pregnant. Is this starry eyed retrospect or is it real...?

m33r · 06/02/2014 18:22

Thanks to people with days past ov bfn to BFP stories. I'm on 13dpo and was gutted with a bfn yesterday (and day before) but I have remewed hope... Even though I have AF cramps it's nice to hold on to some hope for as long as poss.

Thanks for sharing stories!

BumpNGrind · 06/02/2014 18:39

Hi, I had a positive opk yesterday. This month I've taken vitamin b6 and agnus castus before ovulation, and it's the earliest it's ever been which I hope means that I have a longer luteal phase. Also, I had reiki the other day. It's the first alternative therapy I have ever had and even if it does nothing else, I felt very relaxed and calm afterwards.

Fast forward to yesterday and I've had the strongest second line on the ovulation test that I'd ever had. DH and I have dtd every night for the past three nights, and plan to dtd tonight and tomorrow too. Hopefully we can give it a good shot this month.

Good luck to everyone in the 2ww, its the longest wait in the world!!

katecupoftea · 06/02/2014 19:19

Hmmm ov advice please. Only on cd9 but a big keeno so been doing ic OPKs. DTD on cd6 and cd8. Since cd7 I've had a faint positive on OPK but assuming that means nothing - only been testing once a day though (same time, when home from work). Anyway, today I had what I thought was ov pain and this evening I have a small amount of ewcm. Had a 26 day cycle last month so seems a bit early for ov and OPKs would agree. Would you recommend dtd again tonight or wait for +ve OPK?

katecupoftea · 06/02/2014 19:19

And big fat congrats to the big fat Ps!

missmrsmummy · 06/02/2014 19:25

Hi. Ok I have too much time on my hands. I have just decided to see where my cervix is too see if this gives me any insight into where my egg is.

On Mon, as I was trying to remove my soft cup, I found my cervix - really low and obvious.

Today I couldn't find it! I've googled and supposedly this happens around ovulation. So fx it's about to happen!

Anyone else experienced in cervix-hunting?!
