Just did a silly thing...

5DPO (ish) and just got what may be the faintest of faint lines on an Asda test. So faint it could be my imagination. Still, comparing it to the 100% negative test I did on Friday, there is the faintest shadow of a line. But I've been having period-type pains all weekend and just kind of had a feeling.
Frankly I'd be amazed if I was pg - only had my coil out 3 weeks ago, only DTD once in fertile window and I'm 41 in April Blush. Also I'm not sure how keen DH is after all...now he tells me. Obviously that particular point virtually guarantees that I am pg Hmm

I'm not sure BFP at 5dpo is possible is it? But could you be wrong about when you ov'd? Tentative congrats!

I'm quite sure you're right, it'd be not much short of a miracle. I may be a few days later than that. And I suspect I'm obsessing far too much now. [takes deep breath and resolves to wait another week]

It's so hard isn't it? I would probably try another test in the morning to be honest as I have no self control.

Unless you ovulated earlier than you think, it's just not possible. Implantation doesn't happen that early. 5-6dpo is when the embryo hatches out of its shell - it cannot implant before this happens.

It's entirely possible I ovulated earlier than I thought. But in any case I'm going to try and muster the self-control not to test for at least a few days.

If you only had your coil out three weeks ago, you are not likely to be on a regular cycle. Likely you ovulated earlier than you expected.

Since it's faint, wait a few days and do another. Here's hoping you get the result you want!

My first test was a very faint line, so faint you could only see it in bright day light.

It got darker and darker by the day. DS is almost two.
