Anyone know if having thrush while TTC can have a negative effect on your chances of a BFP?

i.e.
1)if you use canestan will it affect your chances
2)should you not BD while you have thrush
3)any thoughts, experiences, ADVISE???!!!!

Would think only reason not to do it would be that you can pass it to your dh, who can pass it back to you.
Don't know about caneston, but if KY, etc isn't good for sperm would maybe avoid treating it (if you can!) until after ov.
Did read somewhere that having thrush can influence sex of baby, something to do with one type of sperm surviving better in more alkaline(?) environ.

Sorry can't be of real help but good luck!
