Trying to concieve. Month three.

Hi I am very new to the forum and trying to work out all the lingo.

A friend loaned us an ovulation monitor. Clear blue one :) and I have had 5 days at two bars and today was my first ovulation day. Hubby is exhausted. And think of I keep on at him he might have a heart attack.

Any hints for a newbie. Oh I already have an 18 year old. I am clearly mentally challenged lol

I assume you've had loads of dtd up to this point then if hubby exhausted. If that's the case, you'll have loads of sperm in you, so there is no harm giving yourselves a break and try tomorrow.
It's very hard to keep it up and there's no point stressing yourselves out. It can be a strain.
Despite everyone shagging like rabbits on here because we are all TTC mad, sex 2 to 3 times a week through the cycle should result in pregnancy if no underlying fertility issues with any partner.

i'm on month 3 too, fingers crossed, this is my first so absolutely no idea what i am doing, have the pink pad and put my 1st period etc into it and it tells me when my ovultaing days are - this month we are dtd every day there is a flower and playing that game - worth a try!

i'm on month 2, currently during my 2 week weight. Feeling lousy but i think I've got a virus rather than pregnant! Good luck! x

What is the 2 week wait?? Sorry I feel sooooo stupid asking this. We have been intimate everyday for 10 days. Hubby is exhausted. Lol. And he lost 2lb in 2 days . Hahaha.

I have had two days of ovulation on my clearblue monitor. Had 4 days of two bars before that so assume tomorrow will be a two bar day. Or hubby is hoping a one bar day .

The 2ww is the time between ovulation and finding out if our efforts worked or not.

Oh there is a list somewhere. Not sure where it is now. If you start a thread asking for a list, someone will post you one quite quickly.

Hi , so basically I got my first smiley ovulation test 29th and second on the 30th 5 days later which would make me cycle day 14 I have had light painless bleeding only when I wipe I've had this for two days could this be implantation? Or am I ovulating late I don't normally get ovulation bleeding like this it's normally just a bit of red tinged mucus or spotting for under an hour and then nothing comes of it , I have a 28- 32 day cycle which I mainly have a 32 day cycle so is this implantation or isit to early to be ??

It is not necessary to have sex every day that clear blue tells you. Every other day is sufficient. The first month it tends to give you too many two bar days. Also the two bar day after ovulation is pointless, it is probably much too late by then.
I would make an effort to have sex on the first three bar day. That is the peak time. Other than that, sperm can survive several days so every other day during the fertile window is more than enough.

But the bleeding I'm having 5 days after a positive opk what is that ? Could it be implantation or something else

If it is happening regularly ask your doctor. Unexplained bleeding between periods is something you should get checked. Probably harmless but might not be helping TTC

Well time to call the doc for an appointment I think. We are trying to fall but I ovulated on Saturday and today woke up to some bright red blood on the tissue. Nothing after that. So think I best go get bloods done.

Had another lift bleed and been his by a wall of nausea. Am booking into the gp. As it's too early to be pregnancy related. :(. Nightmare. Also had another light bleed. So fab. Await period an month 4
