Hi all. I haven't been actively trying for a baby but need some advice. My last period started Jan 2nd and im on a 32 day cycle. Period was due today. Im in a relatively new relationship and we've pretty much been getting down to it everyday. About eight days ago i had really bad period like cramps and was sure my period was going to come early. It didn't. Ive felt a bit sicky, boobs are a bit tender and had some god awful lower back pain. It did cross my mind i could be preg but ive had all the signs that period is on her way. Except she hasn't come. I cant remember the last time i was late. Ive been early a few times but late, no. Usually when i have my period i wake up bleeding. In dec when i came on it was my birthday and i had been up all night and sure enough around 6am i started bleeding. I keep checking for my period today and have been since 5am but nothing. Don't want to go running for a test.... Just want to hear from someone who maybe had something similar? My boyfriend is well aware about this and is quite happy at the prospect of a baby. He doesn't have any children. I have a five year old and it took me and my ex two years to conceive her. Ive wanted another baby for so long. This is why i don't want to test cos im scared of disappointment. Help!

If you are worried you'll see a bfn I would wait a couple days to see if Af shows up. Use a pink dye test to.

Well period is still absent. I usually have a pale pink snotty show 24 hours before period arrives but nothing yet. I am definitely feeling sicker although not being sick and i am really tired. Peeing more as well. Trying not to symptom spot but sicky feeling is too strong to actually ignore. Very tempted to pee on a stick but refusing. If i miss my period completely then i will test. Am now 2 days late. I am never late.

I just don't dare test yet. Will be so upset if its neg although i can't see why it would be.

A bfn can be soul destroying, so if I were you I'd hang on in there and try and wait a few more days. Give yourself a deadline and make sure you pee in the morning straight away so temptation is gone. Tell yourself that you have to test with fmu and if you haven't got it, it's not worth it. This is the only thing that stops me testing every month!

I have decided to test on Sunday. I will be a week late by then (if period stays away) but more to the point, I will be working away in Gloucester. With my daughter I was in Gloucester when I found out lol, soooo hoping that my first return to Gloucester in six years is a good omen!

Keeping this to myself is bloody killing me. Ugh. I don't dare say anything to anyone cos the boyfriend and i haven't been together that long and im going to have to defer uni if i am preg and my family are going to go MAD.

You are doing well! Hang in there and keep peeing in the morning and not catching it.
If the weekend feels like to big a deadline hurdle, try making a shorter one. Like Friday? Thats only another 2 whole days ahead!

Its killing me lol. I am dying to know now. Tired, sick and feeling meh in general. Need to pee every 5 mins.

I am defo going to wait til Sunday to test though.

HIya - I don't think it's unusual. Pregnancy and runny tummy do go together often…I also get loose bowels before and first day of AF. The joys of being a woman.

Well i had the snotty pale pink show thing today so looks like period is going to put in a v late appearance. Terrible cramping. Far too late to be implantation. All i can think of is that period before last i took a morning after pill and period showed up a week earlier than expected. Next period was 32 days later as usually is, now this period is nearly a week late...maybe its just my cycle getting back to how it was before morning after pill?

Must admit, I am confused by the sickness. I tried to bleach something the other day and ended up with my head down the loo. Same with bf spraying his deodorant in the mornings and lol, he tried to kiss me after eating a packet of cheese and onion crisps last night and i ended up gagging. Bless him he was quite offended. The other thing is my boobs. Sore and ive been pouring out of my bras so i got remeasured yesterday. Gone from a C to a D in a month. Haven't gained any weight, in fact ive lost it. Go figure.

Maybe wait and see how you get on then. Have you tried testing just in case? I don't want to put a downer on this, but could it be a chemical preg?

I came to pretty much the same conclusion. Ive bled a bit today but it nots as heavy as a period. I usually have dreadful heavy periods and this is quite light compared. Its not happening the way it should. Usually i have a pale pink show and period will start the next day. Today i had the pale pink show and started bleeding within a couple of hours. Like i said though, not period heavy but lots of cramping.
