Hi all. As promised, a sparkling new thread that is going to see a lot of action in the next few weeks, I hope!

There's something to look forward to res!

Onelittlebugbear · 03/02/2014 20:22

They said I had to use front entrance now. Not sure why.

Dh has ordered a golf club off eBay. It arrived today and he has become obsessed with the idea it's a fake. He has spent two hours researching it on the Internet. So far it looks to be real but he is highly suspicious of everyone and thinks everyone is out to rip him off. It's fucking annoying. He's looking at thousands of pictures of seemingly identical clubs and comparing them to the one he has.

I may go mad soon and shove all remaining bum bullets up his arse.

moggle · 03/02/2014 21:28

Congratulations everyone who is PUPO (I keep thinking of the word 'pupate' when I see 'PUPO', which seems kind of apt) and bugs, additional congratulations on the frosties, that's great news. Although I imagine frozen embryos to be more like ricicles than frosties.

I am waiting for AF now, it's technically due today but I guess things could be weird this month after DRing? I spent 7.5 hours on trains today for a 1.5 hr meeting which seemed a waste (sorry, taxpayers), but since work won't pay for us to access wifi on the train I did get to just sit there and read so not really too bad. Journey home was delayed and I thought I might have to stab on a packed rush hour train but luckily I made it home just inside my hour window (ish). Still haven't had any problematic side effects which I'm v thankful for although I am super super thirsty when I wake up in the morning. 6 more days til scan.

Loving (in a way) the discussions about bum/fanny bullets. All filed away for future reference :-D

wishwash · 03/02/2014 21:37

One do you fancy locking DH and DP in a cupboard to be arses together and going on hols together? I've had enough as I'm sure you have xx

Onelittlebugbear · 03/02/2014 21:49

Ooh shall we wish ?
It only seems fair. Dh has now emailed the maker of his golf club with the serial number to check its authenticity. This is what he is most concerned about this evening. If his golf club is authentic. It's a stick. How authentic does it need to be? Surely they're all the same.

Where shall we go?

wishwash · 03/02/2014 22:03

DP has his obsessions too, usually technology related and it drives me potty. I love a bit of technology myself but we have an xbox one, ps4, 4 Apple Macs, an iPad air, Apple TV and a ps vita in our house! Yeah.... Exactly...

Somewhere far away one please... Somewhere hot and tropical aaaaaahhhh

Turquoisetamborine · 04/02/2014 06:52

Morning girls, first injection went fine lady night. Mostly because my mother did it for me and she's a nurse. Going to do it myself tonight with her watching.

Congrats to all PUPOs!

Badhairday76 · 04/02/2014 07:46

Well done Turquoise - you are on your way now!

AFM - I feel pregnant today. Headache, tingly, vile taste on my mouth and feel thirsty, sick and hungry at the same time. I also feel absolutely exhausted. Am quite pleased!

cwtching · 04/02/2014 07:53

Bugs hurrah for the frosties! Fabulous!

Moggle my AF was a week late on the down-regging sniffs. I got myself quite stressed about it - I just wanted to start stimming and I was worried the drugs had completely shut me down- but I wish I hadn't stressed so much, it did turn up eventually!

Well done Turquoise, You've started stimming! Exciting! You'll be fine doing it yourself this evening.

Ha! One and Wish Grin. Blimey wish that is a lot of technology!

cwtching · 04/02/2014 07:54

Yay Bad! Really excited for you!

Badhairday76 · 04/02/2014 08:27

Thanks Cwtching! I am glad I'm not teaching today. Feeling well rotten, but relieved to feel this way. Today would make me 4 weeks pregnant, plus 1 day. I hope so much this one sticks !

Moggle - my period was also 5 days late then lasted got ages. I normally have super heavy periods but my
DRing one was longer and lighter. Sorry if that is TMI everybody. I am slumped on the sofa whilst my DS wrecks the flat. X

Bunnygirlie · 04/02/2014 08:38

Just de-lurking to say hi!

Congrats one on being PUPO

bug congrats on getting some frosties, it seems so rare!

Good luck to those jabbing or have ECs or ETs coming up.

Bad - how you feeling?

WannabeMaryPoppins · 04/02/2014 09:46

Bad glad to hear you are feeling horrendous Grin
One I have never been told to stick anything up my back passage. Yes there is leakage but it is only the coating. I just use a pantyliner.
wish that is pretty impressive. I think the holiday sounds like a great idea. Might just join you and one if you are going somewhere hot!

Hi everyone else.

Just went for another scan today and apparently everything is "optimal" which was nice to hear, so its all systems go for Friday. I asked again about the grading cos it does my head in as well. The Dr said that the grading says nothing about quality (as you can't see into the cells) but development and my last embie is a c because it is has developed a bit slower than you would expect - ie I have a morula instead of a blasto.

Onelittlebugbear · 04/02/2014 10:09

Bad glad to hear the symptoms have kicked in!

Wish - let's get booking!

Wannabe sounds like things are happening now, always nice when things are optimal Grin

I'm having an easy day today although ds pushed me backwards off the bed his morning, not sure that will have helped my embryos a fat lot. I nearly said some very bad words. I haven't been sleeping between testing my blood sugar and itching so hopefully will have a nap. The rash is definitely not as bad but still uncomfortable.
Not feeling in any way optimistic today. Don't think my little 6 cell embie has much chance. :-(. I am a bit concerned that they were all quite slow growing, why would that be? But I suppose we only had a few and if we had had more we might have had a better chance.

cwtching · 04/02/2014 11:10

I have found an insomnia cure!! A friend leant me Zita West's meditation cd. I'm not sure if its going to help the embie but I play it when I go to bed and I am out like a light (as is DH!).

Onelittlebugbear · 04/02/2014 11:14

Cwtch is it the one where she keeps saying 'umbelici or belly button'? It just makes me have hysterics!

How many cycles do they normally ask for between treatment? Is it one or two?

starsandmoonandback · 04/02/2014 11:25

One, it's usually 2-3 af's after a fresh cycle. Don't give up on your embies yet tho hun. Xx

I can honestly say that I have never made it to the end of a Zita West meditation. I usually get to about the relaxation bit number 3 and the next thing I know she's saying "we've reached the end of the sessions". Hoping that it works subconciously.

Bugs I herewith pronounce you officially allowed to slob on the sofa all day. DVDs, chocolate, blankets and whatever makes you feel better are mandatory. I will disappointed if I find out later that you have been cleaning the oven. Smile

cwtching · 04/02/2014 11:53

Ha! Yes one it's the umbilicus one it makes me laugh every time, why not just say belly button? It does send me off to sleep though so no more boring myself to sleep playing sudoku until the early hours! Hurrah!

I second MP - guilt free sofa afternoon for you Bugs! (nice) I am also jealous of your sunshine. Where's mine?! its absolutely pouring with rain!

Onelittlebugbear · 04/02/2014 12:04

I know! She has to clarify it with 'belly button' each time she says it anyway! Naval would have been ok too. It makes me snigger and then I can't relax, I will try it again though since it cost me £12.

Bugs hope you're relaxing. I should tidy up my house but I'm watching daytime tv. I'm looking forward to bargain hunt. Oh dear.
Also I keep Internet shopping. This is Not Good.

vallinnapod · 04/02/2014 12:13

One I had my withdrawal bleed from the IVF then straight on the pill and stimms starting day2 of the withdrawal bleed from the pill.

I found the Maggie Howell CDs good too. I have an IVF specific one and a pregnancy one.

Last prover yesterday so just waiting for a bleed, then on the pill then FET.

vallinnapod · 04/02/2014 12:21
