Hi all. As promised, a sparkling new thread that is going to see a lot of action in the next few weeks, I hope!

And my OTD isn't until Monday!

Onelittlebugbear · 05/02/2014 14:18

I would take the exhaustion as a positive sign! I'm really hoping things work out (I think they will) as you've been through enough trauma already x x

I'm lying on the sofa with my fur baby cat. Shes lying on my uterus, would Zita West approve? Will have to go out in the rain to fetch ds soon. I bought him a bath bomb to make up for my lack of attendance at his maths thing. Stomach seems to be better in afternoons so ventured out to shop to get friend birthday gift and stumbled across the bath bombs. Ds loves bath bombs, quirky little bean that he is.

Onelittlebugbear · 05/02/2014 14:19

Actually, sad though it is, my cat really cheers me up. I never liked cats but this one moved in with us after her owners moved and left her behind. She's very much mine and trots around after me about the house. She's a funny looking thing but probably as close to a dog as a cat can be.

I'm glad they left her behind. They weren't very nice. She was riddled with fleas and underweight. Now she has a glossy coat and eats the most expensive gourmet cat food you can buy Hmm
She's a sweetie though.

They are a comfort. I like it when they purr. It's a happy little sound.

moggle · 05/02/2014 16:55

Cats are the best. Our two are being very supportive and affectionate at the moment, I'm always grabbing them and forcing cuddles on them and they tolerate it very well. On the other hand when they get really happy they like to knead your stomach with their little claws which isn't that comfy after stabbing...

eurochick · 05/02/2014 17:23

bad I didn't bleed until I stopped the progesterone but I literally had one early barely there line each time and the next day it was a BFN. You are pregnant!

I have cat envy. I'd love one. When I was on my work trip last week, inside one restaurant, there was a cat wandering among the tables looking for scraps. It didn't approach any of the customers. Until I came to our table, took one look at me, jumped on my lap, curled up and started purring! I didn't even have any food - we had finished our meal by then. My colleagues now think I am some sort of crazy cat charmer...

eurochick · 05/02/2014 17:23

Until I = until it

Onelittlebugbear · 05/02/2014 17:37

Get one euro, my cat is my therapy.
Mind you, you might not want a new cat and a baby at the same time!

Is it ten days for the trigger to be gone? So if I took it last Wednesday it should be gone by Saturday? Be gone, trigger, be gone!

My boobs are unbelievably sore, bloody crappy progesterone. Ds jumped on me earlier and I wanted to cry. The pain! Stuck ds in the bath now with his bath bomb.

Badhairday76 · 05/02/2014 17:45

Sore boobs are a good sign of you know what as well, One!

Thanks Euro - I have to admit that I just did another test and the line is much stronger. With afternoon wee as well! I look and feel so awful today that I am starting to finally believe it. I could hardly keep awake and have had a gross taste in my mouth all day.

I also have cat envy. I love animals - in fact I haven't eaten one for 25 years! I would definitely get a couple of cats and a dog if we had a house and garden. We live in a 2 bed flat in Central London. If I actually have another baby, we will need to rethink our living arrangements!

Hello to all you lovely egg buddies. I echo Ones earlier statement that you keep me sane! Xxx

Onelittlebugbear · 05/02/2014 17:51

Yep bad, sounds like you're going to need somewhere bigger! So glad the line was darker...hope it's put your mind at rest x x

I don't think anything would even have implanted yet so fairly sure the horrifically sore boobs are the work of the progesterone. Vile stuff.

Badhairday76 · 05/02/2014 17:56

I had killer sore boobs when I was pregnant with my DS and they went absolutely huge and veiny! I must have been about 7 weeks because I remember people l

Badhairday76 · 05/02/2014 17:57

Oops - looking at them in yoga and no doubt wondering if I'd had a boob job!

Onelittlebugbear · 05/02/2014 17:59

Me too bad, but I think I must have been a couple of weeks pregnant. The sore boobs corresponded with my positive test at 9dpo. I'm only 5dpt so think the progesterone is responsible. Given that it's also causing upset stomach, high sugars and stomach cramps. Grim stuff. I wasn't as worried about it because it didn't seem as scary as a jab but actually it's causing me more trouble than the cetrotide or menopur.

Turquoisetamborine · 05/02/2014 18:03

Just went off it with H when I found his preconception vitamins untouched. Gave him a mouthful then found he's been using an old packet and hasn't missed a day. Wonder if this is the Buserelin starting to make me crazy!

Can I say congrats yet Bad? It certainly sounds so!

Badhairday76 · 05/02/2014 18:43

Thanks Turquoise - but don't congratulate me yet! I will feel better after a) blood test on Monday and b) scan at 8 weeks if I get that far.

I too went mental at my DP for not taking his pre-conception vitamins before we started IVF. His excuse? He didn't like the thought of 'messing with his body'. I nearly killed him. Glad your fella was actually doing the right thing!

eurochick · 05/02/2014 19:34

one our house just isn't suitable. It's all open plan and we have some gorgeous Italian sofas that are not kitty-friendly. Plus the house is modern with lots of glass and it heats up like a greenhouse in summer, so we couldn't leave a cat indoors. So, it's on the cards for when we move to somewhere more sensible.

I have also tested the trigger out and found it to be gone by about 9dpo.

bad hurrah for a darker a line. That must be a comfort.

Onelittlebugbear · 05/02/2014 19:41

Our cat has trashed our conservatory furniture. We have bought her all manner of scratching posts but she has snubbed them with her kitty nose held high in the air. She much prefers the wicker conservatory furniture.

Badhairday76 · 05/02/2014 19:49

Euro! Your gorgeous Italian sofas won't stay gorgeous for long once you have your little one! Am not kidding. We bought a new sofa just over a year ago when our DS was about 8 months. It is covered in stains all manner if things. Only this morning my DS did a wee on it!

Onelittlebugbear · 05/02/2014 19:50

Just been greeted by someone's massive bump photo on my fb page.
It's set me off again.
I hate feeling jealous. I'm rarely jealous...Im usually nice.

One Glad that you are Feeling more positive. Cats are great and I am working on persuading DH to let us get one too

Waves to everyone

AFM I am Feeling lovely and relaxed after a bit of accupuncture and craniosacral therapy. Have no idea if it is going to help on Friday but it certainly helps to destress which can only be a good thing

WannabeMaryPoppins · 05/02/2014 20:06

Just cross posted, sorry. I fucking hate that as well. Bubba? What sort of word is that? And no I do not want to see inside your womb thank you very much.

WannabeMaryPoppins · 05/02/2014 20:07

And don't worry about your Sofas Euro. You just buy some throws from IKEA that you can Whip off and wash as and when

Onelittlebugbear · 05/02/2014 20:18

And they're always "feeling blessed."
I may have to come off fb for a while.
