I had a miracle happen to me, I just had a healthy beutifull baby girl. When I first found out that I am pregnant I went to my first appointment, when they did an ultrasound they told me that my baby is dead, they told me to go to a more powerfull ultrasound to confirm if this is true, after I went to the second ultrasound they told me the same thing. I came home crying and confused how could God let this happen, My family started to pray for me and told me to go to a third appointment and to another Doctor, they believed that God will do a miracle for me and my baby, And he Did, God made a miracle for me when I went to another Doctor, they did an ultrasound and told me that the baby is fine and alive, I even saw heart beat. I belive that God saved my doughter and brought her back to life.
nine months later I had a healthy beutifull girl. If any one is going throug this hard time, just ask jesus in to your life and ask for his help. He will help you

wow! olya, im curious about nhs procedure with your scan appts. from the stories i hear and read, one scan is enough to detect if the baby has died.

how many weeks were you pregnant when you went to your first appt? and what kind of powerful ultrasound was offered to you for the second appt? and when you went to the third appt with a different doctor, was it private? i thought pregnant women would have one allocated midwife team per pregnancy.

Can I intrude your thread and say after I had an abortion, I prayed so so so much to have a baby (I know, very very hypocritical- long story) and only slept with husband once and I was pregnant. People can make what they will about that, but I feel so so so blessed.

That's a lovely story Olya. I had something similar happen to me when I was 7 weeks pg with DS2. Had lots of pain and bleeding, went for a scan to be told 6 week foetal pole and no heartbeat seen. Was told to expect further bleeding, and to come back 1 week later to confirm.
During the following week I had a bit more bleeding, did not feel pg anymore and was preparing myself for the worst. On the Sunday we went to church, there was a visiting speaker from Australia (can't remember his name ) who gave a call for anyone wanting prayer at the end. I went up for prayer, and he said to me "Don't let the devil lie to you". We went home, and I just had the strangest feeling of feeling pg again - funny taste in mouth, tired, moody etc. The next day we went for our scan (exactly one week after the first) and there was DS heart beating away, measuring 8 + 2!
Not pretending to understand it, but I praise God every day for our boys! (DS1 was miracle too, but that is another story!)

It is amazing the things that can happen. i think i believe in God more again after our experience.
we were diagnosed with infertility and we have had the worst possible time in our lifes, there was a time when i thought we would not stay together.
We were told we had to go for ICSI and all of the sudden 2 years later I became pregnant! I still think it is a dream. I am now 17 weeks pregnant and i am enjoying every bit of it! I feel so blessed! and it is great to have my husband growing inside of me! i thought I would have to go for a donor! It is us!!!!

i forgot to add that it happened without any help! Doctors were wrong and men infertily can be treated! Dont give up!
