forgive me for being slightly obsessive, but a little confused. first month ttc - did the deed once at OV time (and pretty sure i ov'd). last week or so masses of pg symptoms (boobs, feeling sick etc etc). these still haven't gone - tested at 10dpo and got a bfn.

then on sunday (12dpo) i thought af had arrived but it does seem extremely light - just a small amount of blood over past few days, nothing at all like normal. (though this is first 'normal after pill, so i guess it could be that). COULD this be an implantation bleed and should i test again, or am i just being crazy - surely it's too late? if i didn't have this constant nauseous/swollen tummy feeling i wouldn't be so preoccupied, but it's like i've never felt this before - help!

does sound good glittercatz... have you tested.. didn't you post something else (or maybe, i think, i offered a positive outlook on the symptoms you were saying about.. bruised below tummy button wasn't it..?)

i reckon it could be implantation.. had you come off pill? that could be one thing which would play about with your hormones...

It is certainly possible to have a whole myriad of pregnancy symptoms with no pregnancy. It is also possible - if unlikely that you are pregnant. I would think coming off the pill is most likey to account for a different bleed. If you need to do another test to convince yourself - then do for peace of mind. if you can just get on and not be totally stressed you'll know next month - presumably you are taking folic acid if you are ttc?

yes, that's right becca! I posted on friday about the dragging feeling also (seem to have every symptom in the book, though realize that's not unusual!) so then i tested on sat - got bfn and then started what i thought was af on sunday. (wasn't hugely disappointed as only first month of ttc...)

but now it's this whole 'could it be implantation or is this just a very light period?' thing...driving me nuts, but i guess only way is to see how it goes and test again if af doesn't seem to, ahem, ever get going...

yes, taking folic apron strings.

(though have not been a saint....on sunday, when i thought af had arrived (which it probably has and lightness is due to coming off pill as you say) i got rather drunk at a bbq

glittercaz.. so have you stoped pill? i had coil out in april, got v v stingy light bleed - like cystitis really first month; then full blown big af start of june; start of july, only 3 days not 5. and now 2 days early, and not bleeding, just when i look for it if u know what i mean..

i hope you are preg. when is af due..?
