Charting - how to compare charts with different wake-up times

I still have my charts pre-DC1 and DC2.

Back then (oh happy days) I was waking at 6am.

Now I wake at 4.45am.

From memory, your temp goes up 0.1 degree F for every 30mins later you take it (although I've never understood this, since surely it must peak at some point or you'd be crazy hot if you didn't get up until noon...). Anyway.

Does this mean that my chart now will be around 0.2F lower than my previous charts since I'm getting up about an hour earlier?

(To put this in context - I'm starting charting again in the middle of a crazy BF cycle and have no idea whether I'm pre or post-O, but I know my pre/post-O temp ranges so want to compare).

Hi I think temp goes up .10 degrees centigrade every hour . I would just start charting and see what the overall picture is. I think you will soon see if you are post or preovulation. If you check your cm that will give you an idea as well. HTH
