Is this too early to test? What do you think? Shall I wait a few days?

This site is useful - www.countdowntopregnancy.com/pregnancy-test/dpo-chart.php?dpo=10

67% of pregnant women got a BFP at 10dpo.

How would you feel it you got a positive and it went away?

Would you rather get negative test after negative test or just wait for AF?

If you do get a positive are you just going to be panicking for the next few days?

OrangeFizz99 · 29/01/2014 16:19

Definitely possible - I've had bfps twice at 10dpo.

I always regret it though - the worries almost increase!

mum2kiss · 29/01/2014 16:24

Im 11dpo and soooo tempted to test but I am also a worrier so after reading these posts I think I will definitely wait until af is late!

akachan · 29/01/2014 16:25

I am a terrible early tester. I buy the really cheap test strips from Amazon and go POAS crazy from about 9 DPO. It's stupid though, it really is. I am determined to wait until 14 DPO this cycle (we'll see).

nichib83 · 29/01/2014 16:53

I think I am gonna wait. I have had chemicals before so just to be safe I won't do it!! With my sons I never tested early. I should really know better, it's just so hard to wait! Good luck ladies!!

I didn't get a BFP until 13dpo with DS, I started testing at 11dpo. Despite knowing this I'm terrible for testing early - am currently 10dpo and tested this morning Blush Negative obviously! I had a chem before DS and the way I figure it is even if you get an early positive when you POAS and then it disappears then at least you knew that your timing was OK that month - it gives me hope for the next! That's my skewed logic anyway Grin

nichib83 · 29/01/2014 20:09

SaRaRaRaRa...that's how I think too! At least you caught the egg! You have given me hope. I have just recalculated my dates and I'm not even sure when I'm due on. Maybe someone could help me with this....

My last cycle was 34 days. My old cycles before I had the coil put in was around 30-31 days (can't remember!). I think my cycle last month was so long cos I just had coil removed in Dec. What should I use as my cycle length? Really not sure what to think or when to test!! Going by a 30 day cycle then 'Countdown to Pregnancy' thinks I should test on Tuesday that would make me 16dpo!!!! x

Having had chemical pgs, I wouldn't...it's heartbreaking when they don't implant.

nichib83 · 30/01/2014 15:11

Does anyone have any advice on when I should test due to what I said about my cycles? I'm really not sure when to expect af and I don't want to test too early now!! Thinking about it, testing at 10dpo would have been way too early!!

The latest implantation can realistically happen is around 12dpo. Couple of days for the hcg to rise to a level detectable by a test, and 16dpo will be absolutely fine I would have thought. Good luck!!

Thank you very much :)
