Stay on cerezette or go on the coil? Thoughts?

Hi all - very new to this but want to try and conceive after the summer when I can stop taking my high strength allergy tablets (mainly for severe grass allergy). I also have very severe period pain called dysmenorrhoea which is completing disabling on day 1 and I've been taking cerezette very successfully for years (with no bleeding or an occasional bleed). I have read a lot of threads that your cycle can take quite a while to get back to normal after coming off this pill and wondered if I went on the non hormonal coil from now whether this would give my body time to recover and get back to normal and hopefully have a better change of conceiving coming off the IUD? Has anyone had a similar decision or can share some advice? Thanks all! :-)
