Morning all,

Most important thing first: very many congratulations MIAM. Here's to a happy and healthy pregnancy!

I haven't been around for a while for a couple of reasons. I took a bit of a break after having the miscarriage in July. We were all set for trying again in August but DH got the dreaded man-flu and was neither use nor ornament while I was ovulating. We made zero babies and he moaned for an entire week about his piffling cold So after a temperature drop yesterday, af turned up on cue this morning. I am officially on CD1 and this is the month.

DH and I decided yesterday that we would take it easy, not get too wound up about it and think positive. The fact that I managed to get pg in July has to count for something and there's absolutely no reason why I can't do it again.

Had a lovely weekend so far. Yesterday we stayed in bed late, read the paper and browsed the property supplement, dreaming of winning the lottery. Had a picnic on the sitting room floor in our pyjamas, had a bath together and lay on the sofa afterwards reading our books. Doesn't sound much but it was really lovely and nice to remember that even if we're not pg yet, we're together and happy and making the most of it.

Looking forward to catching up with you all again. Let's hope this is a lucky thread.

SOH

muminamini · 13/08/2006 14:17

Hi SOH

Your day sounds lovely and I hope you have lots of luck this month - relaxing about it all surely has worked for me and I hope it does for you too
xx

MrsMcJnr · 13/08/2006 14:33

Way to go Muminamini, fabulous, congratulations!!

Hello all cycle buddies, there seem to be a few of us. Things are going to get fraught on here around testing/AF time!

SOH - love your attitude, fingers crossed it is your month (and that the rest of us can join you too).

Baby dust to all....

Sexonlegs · 13/08/2006 17:26

Oh MIAM, I was just asking after you on the Positive August thread, and how lovely to see you here, with a BFP!!! Delighted for you I really am. Hope you have a healthy and happy pregnancy.
Great to see you SOH as well. Your day sounded really lovely. Fingers crossed for this September.
I am still on the Aug thread, as af not due for another 9 long days, but don't hold out much hope. Not getting stressed about it, as there have been so many other things going on.
Anyway, good luck to all. xx

Natty1806 · 13/08/2006 17:42

Congrats to MIAM !! so ,so pleased for your bfp!! I think your statement/comment about relaxing is SO true- I conceivd when I had all but given up hope and was waiting for my fertility appt!!

I m on cd 13 today and we have been having so fun ttc over the past few days...but less stress - more fun like SOH said, trying to calm it down abit.
Good luck everyone!!!

MrsMcJnr · 14/08/2006 09:39

Hello ladies. CD3 for me not much to report except DH has bruised a disc in his back trying to catch our cat! He is signed off work all week and it may take a few more before his back is ok apparently. I do feel sorry for him but one of my first thoughts was oh no, hope it is better in time for BD this month! what a bad wife! How's everyone?

Angsthase · 14/08/2006 11:20

Congratulations MIAM

Ok, am taking your advise and will try to relax, not sure I'm ready to give up MN yet though

muminamini · 14/08/2006 11:44

Thanks for all the Congrats

Giving up MN was difficult but the only way to reduce the obsessional thinking about it for me
x

I'm back to being a fully addicted MN'er again now!

Sorry this is a repeat post form the clomid thread but several people asked about my appointment so.....

HURRAH!!!

Phoned clinic this morning and mentioned (?!) that I was still waiting, after nearly a year, to see the consultant.
Got an appointment at the end of Sept.....only one more cycle then I get to see him...

I am very pleased.

Trace...are you around?
haven't seen you for a few days.
X

Babymad4num3 · 14/08/2006 13:56

DH as got a sperm test to do and I have to go for a blood test on CD21, CD3 at the moment, see what the test find now I dont know if to be worried or happy! She also gave me some information about temping so something else do try thus month! I'll keep you upto date with tests, hopefully get to the bottom of it now!

coggy · 14/08/2006 13:58

Another cycle buddy - hurrah!

Babymad....wannaBe, MrsMc, Trace and myself are all CD3.

Babymad4num3 · 14/08/2006 14:20

Dose anyone know what a CD21 blood test show's up?

coggy · 14/08/2006 14:22

Progesterone I think.....shows if you're ovulating.

MrsMcJnr · 14/08/2006 14:23

Coggy and Babymad - great news re the appointments. Keep us posted. Good to hear we have so many cycle buddies, wouldn't it be great if we all fall around the same time! Baby dust to all!

Babymad4num3 · 14/08/2006 14:24
