Babymad4num3 · 30/08/2006 11:26

MM DS#1 6yrs start's yr2 tue05/09! grow up so quick!

MrsMcJnr · 30/08/2006 11:31

Morning ladies - CD19 for me, OV yesterday so am on my 2WW. Managed to BD CD15, 17 and 18 so hope that did the trick. Only used the pre-seed on CD15 though.

Angsthase - My Spanish is not as good as it used to be , but planning our wedding over there from over here certainly gave me a refresher course! Not keen on the idea of having babies over there though. Friends have told me that there is no such thing as gas and air, it is epidural or natural (or section - and until recently, it was a vertical one!!), you get stirrups whether you like it or not and episiotomies (sp!) are standard practice. Yikes! Very much a wimp on these things!

Hi Andi0411 - exciting time of the month for you . Fingers and toes crossed for you for Friday.

Babymad - When are you testing? Re PCOS, hope that you get the all clear and that the rest of the blood tests go well but if you do have it, have a look at www.verity-pcos.org.uk also apparently The Ultimate PCOS Handbook by Theresa Cheung & Colette Harris (£14.99, Thorsons) is a great book, very holistic, research led tips on diet, exercise, natural therapies etc.

Glad you like the software NattyandThomas and are feeling better. I have been where you are before on the work anxiety front. I am really not a very chilled out person and am normally worrying about at least one thing, not a good way to be if you are TTC, I know. I have been making a positive effort to relax more but it is hard.

Hi Coggy - How frustrating for you, you would think that the software would understand the effects of the medication that it recognises or what is the point in recording it other than to use the software as a diary? I do like the software. It has lots of great points, it keeps it all neat, reminds you what should be happening when and I like the Fertility Planner but I get fed up with the way it changes its mind from day to day as far as its predictions are concerned and I can't help thinking that it only registers a pos OV if you had keyed in that you have done a test! I never got one last month despite the CM readings and temp shift. That said, as I get better at charting, I will probably find the software even more useful.

Hope you all have a great day and hello to all of you I have not specifically mentioned!

Babymad4num3 · 30/08/2006 11:43

MrsMc I'm having two blood test's tomorrow i hope, one for the PCOS and one you have on your CD21 (or there abouts) to make sure your hormones are at levels to ov!

mummymelling · 30/08/2006 11:50

Babymad, would the srum 21 progesterone test pick up if you have conceived or just that ov has occured??

Angsthase · 30/08/2006 11:50

MrsMJ - well that's that decided then. Even if I do get pg after we go to Spain I'll be coming back here for the birth!!! awwah. Sounds prehistoric

mummymelling · 30/08/2006 11:51

DOH!!! forgot the e in serum lol

Babymad4num3 · 30/08/2006 12:20

MM i dont know i'll ask! lol

Babymad4num3 · 30/08/2006 12:21

MM It would save on a PG test would'nt it! lol

DreamingIguess · 30/08/2006 12:25

morning all

babymad, good luck with the tests

i'm such a hypo; will wait and see if any small miracles... if af does turn up i'll go all health conscious next month - organic veg and fresh air etc, try again and then if not, will go to gp's.

i hate going to doctors tho.. really do - feel like they look at me and think you're not old, you're not terminallyill. stop wasting our time

Babymad4num3 · 30/08/2006 12:30

Thanks DreamingIguess, and good luck to you too! Also i feel the same way about doctors but going tomorrow before blood tests so i know where your coming from with that one , i really hate it!

DreamingIguess · 30/08/2006 12:30

possible foot in mouth by me again

that was purely a comment about me and my doctors attitude by the way.

hats off to you Babymad for going and getting blood tests.

if my current gp's were friendlier i'd be round there

mummymelling · 30/08/2006 12:32

are you guys ok with me chatting onhere?, i was browsing another thread and after reading what was written, i feel like a total gatecrasher on here, am i on the right thread??? af is due next weds so i am hoping for a pos sept, x

DreamingIguess · 30/08/2006 12:34

and GOOD LUCK

mummymelling · 30/08/2006 12:38

AWWW!!! thanks for that hun, im prob just reading into things a bit much,i suppose we all in same boat, thats why were on here in the first place!!,now i can decide whats worse waiting for posov orbfp lmao still at least you get to have fun bd

DreamingIguess · 30/08/2006 12:40

i think waiting for bfp / bfn is worse than pos ov waiting.. i mean, not nice if you get your ov indications just as in laws knock to stay for the weekend, but otherwiseyour optimism remains intact; it's the 2ww which is yucky

DreamingIguess · 30/08/2006 12:40

DreamingIguess · 30/08/2006 12:41

SOS!

mummymelling · 30/08/2006 12:43

yup think i have to agree esp as pms can be the same as pg,even if the test says ng you still hope that maybe it was too early ....always hoping until af arrives lol

Babymad4num3 · 30/08/2006 12:49

The worse thing is AF late and a bfn! Than you get your hope's up thinking that PG test is wrong when in fact it AF just being late, thats the worsed!
