Sorry to hear AF has arrived for others that have to join me but here's hoping for lots of BFP's this month.

Oh Pinkranger, I am so sorry to hear your news. How many weeks pg were you?
Thinking of you. xx

ShowOfHands · 24/08/2006 21:44

Good evening all. Just dropping in to see what is happening with everybody and to update on what is happening with me. Pinkranger, I am so sorry for your sad news. I was on the positive July thread too, had my first ever bfp, but sadly had a m/c. You're in good company on this thread, I will be thinking of you.

I'm currently on CD12 and frankly I am a bit fed up. I always ovulate on CD12, have EWCM days 10-12 and have ovulation pains on CD12, temperature shoots up on CD13. Not this month though. No CM at all, no ovulation pain, nothing. What has happened? Where's my egg? We've tried really hard, BDed every day from CD6 and something has gone wrong. I've never not ovulated before. I'm not stressed, had a normal 27 day cycle after my m/c and thought everything was fine.

Any ideas?

manuka · 24/08/2006 22:04

I had bang on 28day cycle for YEARS til I mc. then everything went bonkers and mc again shortly after. Then my hormones were so weird I stopped ovulating. I think having a mc affects the body more than you'd imagine. There's a chinese herb called dong quai thats good for balancing hormones which I've just remembered I used to get cycle normal in the first place when younger. Found it extremely effective so maybe it will help you? Wish I'd thought of it when I mc!!
Angsthase - check out dong quai too and see if its right for you??

manuka · 24/08/2006 22:06

Forgot to add that accupuncture kicks arse when it comes to sorting womens hormones!

NattyandThomas · 24/08/2006 23:06

evening all. bad day today, hormones going crazy, def having af in next few days.
this is how i can tell: me and dp where in shoe shop today, when dp says hes going to buy a pair of trainers aswell as shoes. i went completly off on one! i told him we couldnt afford it and if we cant afford a new coat for me (still wearing size 22 pregnancy coat ) then he sure as hell cant spend 25 quid on shoes. dp stormed out of shop and when i finally caught him up he told me they were on buy one get on free.
so a little hormonal...
thanks for all your comments guys, and have decided as we are not activly NOT concieving, i will just "happen" to get really randy around ov time ... then IM activly TTC but hes not... no pressure on him

Alisteal · 24/08/2006 23:24

Can I join you all for a positive September?! My birthday is September 8th and my wish is for everyone including me to get PG!

Babymad4num3 · 24/08/2006 23:26

Manuka my hormones have gone crazy "chinese herb called dong quai" how much did it cost and how fast did it work, one other thing can you take it while TTC? Thanks chickxx

NattyandThomas · 24/08/2006 23:48

alisteal welcome mylove xxxx

Alisteal · 24/08/2006 23:59

NattyandThomas- thank you for the welcome darlin

Babymad4num3 · 25/08/2006 02:56

Feeling very hormnal, tired, feed up, crying, had enough, i feel like giving up, it 3 in the morning, food and sleep just lately is the last thing on my mind! soz had to get that out!! Hopefuly feel much better later!

aprilmeadow · 25/08/2006 07:50

How are you feeling today Babymad? Sorry to hear you are having a tough time lately. I dont quite know what to say, but wanted to let you know that i am thinking of you and have my fingers crossed for you and all the other ladies that September is a BFP month xx

ShowOfHands · 25/08/2006 09:24

Thanks for replying manuka. I don't think that it is the m/c causing the problem as my hormone levels are normal and I have had a completely normal cycle between the m/c and this cycle. I suspect that I will just have to accept that this is going to be an anovulatory cycle and it won't be my month for getting pg. I am fed up that once again it seems to be my body getting in the way of us having a baby. If I'm not losing a pregnancy I'm not even producing an egg to create one. I know it's ridiculous but I think it just gets to the stage where you can't keep telling yourself 'oh maybe next month'. I've been so positive for nearly a year and nobody in rl knows I'm trying so I can't share the disappointment.

Sorry to waffle!

MrsMcJnr · 25/08/2006 09:32

Hello ladies - how are you all today?

Oh Babymad , everything will be fine, you are getting the BDing in and it won't be long, hang in there chick and try and enjoy the anticipation, I know it's hard but you are normally so upbeat! Hope you are feeling better now (hugs).

Hugs to you too Pinkranger, really sorry but you are welcome here and we'll look after you!

Manuka - what brand of royal jelly do you take? how does it help when TTC? I'll have a look on myspace.com. My Mum claims she is psychic, which we all find very amusing because we are not convinced she is (she gets furious if you show her presents wrapped up before Christmas because she says she can "see" what they are!!)

CD14 & no BD for me despite EWCM, DH came home after midnight, drunk and I was too tired and this morning he was too tired. I feel so frustrated (not that way ) I know that yesterday was probably our best shot and now we've missed it - sorry to be negative but I just don't think it can happen for me this month, we're just not BDing enough and for newly weds, that's a pretty sad state of affairs. It's not normally like this but we have just had no time alone, damn Dupree for pitching up just at the wrong time

Babymad - I had it all worked out, I was going to pick him up from the train station at 9pm as planned, ready pre-seeded!! (sorry if TMI ). Glad you got a quickie in before the in laws came!! (loved you dirty pun btw!)

SOH - sorry to hear you are all messed up, hope things calm down soon.

NattyandThomas - hope you fell better today. Liked your explanation of TTC, that's the same as us, I am, desperatley and he is just enjoying having a frisky wife (or not enjoying it....!)

Hi Alisteal - nice to have you on board and thank you for your very generous wish, lots of babydust to you too.

Hi Aprilmeadow - thank you for hoping for us all! how are you feeling? still grinning like mad?!

Angsthase · 25/08/2006 09:44

SOH, sorry your body's being awkward. I know how you feel. You think you know what's going on and when you're set to OV, then your body starts playing tricks on you. Maybe you're tensed up inside without realising it?

Angsthase · 25/08/2006 09:50

Pinkranger you've had to rejoin us. Sorry for your loss. Had a missed mc in May. Be kind to yourself xx

Babymad - I think you're stressing bigstyle and need to do something to take your mind off this whole thing. It just becomes THE thing that you think about day and night and it can't be good for our chances. Take care x

I know I need to do this. I'm thinking of using a massage voucher I got for my birthday and taking some time off MN!! Certainly if Sept isn't my month that's what I'm going to do. That will be 2 years from first starting to TTC, so time for a break.

Good luck girls xxx

pinkranger · 25/08/2006 09:57

Hi ladies

Thank you for you kind words
SOL - i was 10 weeks when found out, babay died at 6 )

Babymad4num3 · 25/08/2006 10:09

Hello ladies!
Hope everyone is well and BDing!

Didn't take temp, well I did but was 1 1/2 hours late (36.7) and I had to rush downstairs for the toilet, don't know what I can do about that, I have DBed three days in a row I will try again tonight, I need the love more than the swimmers, if you get me! I brought some FRESH ROYAL JELLY CAPSULES last night, 3 in the morning like, off Ebay cost £5 with post, I'm giving them ago, I think you can take while TTC, can some one reassure me??

So I've brought the book, ov-tests x10, PG tests x5 and the royal jelly one months worth but can always buy more! Royal jelly royal jelly to me all got the same stuff in them.lol!

Cant stop crying, fell like you would not believe, if I'm not lucky this month I'm giving up cant go on like this, I do in fact think I'm depressed and I do need a break!

NattyandThomas · 25/08/2006 10:12

af arrived this morning. feeling down and depressed today. doped up to the eyeballs with pain killers another bad month

dp has chest infection so im still having to do everything despite barely being able to walk!

good luck to everyone else though lets hope september is a positive month for everybody xxxx

Babymad4num3 · 25/08/2006 11:14

Just been reading about the ROYAL JELLY wow!!
It help with a list of thing including morning sickness, and other things like kidney diseases (which I have), ovarian insufficiency, promotes sexual rejuvenation, skin disorders (I have acne at the mo) so help with that would be nice, anxiety states, insomnia and anorexia, as well as a hormones balancer, and much more sounds great glad I'm giving to ago now!

Angsthase · 25/08/2006 11:47

Babymad - the royal jelly has to be good quality. A friend of mine gave me this website:

royaljelly

She used the stuff and says its the dogs.... It's quite expensive, but worth it if it delivers anything like the results she talked about.
Lets make this our month of all guns blazing before a month off!!
