I know its only just the start of August but my next AF is not due until 5th September ish.

Sorry to hear AF has arrived for others that have to join me but here's hoping for lots of BFP's this month.

MrsMcJnr, yes first chart, as the last two i didn't know when to take the temp so i was taking them at all odd time, so starting a new!
Pre seed, was let say abit "wet" but not over wet if you get me! It's say to "apply 15 min before BD, and to bear down slightly after inserted, as this will get rid of any excess that your body dosen't need" "and wipe off any excess from your vulva" (soz if TMI) But DH flet there as no need for much forplay (again soz if TMI)
Temp, just seem like every time i'm up to 36.6 i have a po-ov-test!! STrees!

I need to stay pos!! Just keep testing, temping, and BDing with pre seed, never no it might all work! DH sex slave!

Babymad - thank you for all the info, it was not too much, it was exactly what I needed! 15 mins before though - not sure I ever have that much warning!

Don't know what to say really about the OPK readings. I am no expert, this is only my second month of charting. My temp seems to be around 35.9 everyday pre OV (and does not change with different waking times either so I'm lucky but I do temp at the same time each day). Last month, my temp dipped to 35.7 the day before OV and then went up to 36.1 then to 36.4 then 36.4 before staying up at 36.3 & 36.4 until AF.

Toni does say in her book that a woman can experience false LH surges in which she has mini-peaks of LH before the real one and that these are detected by OPKs. You can also have false starts at OV in the first part of your cycle due to stress or illness.

I think if I were you, I would be looking for a temp at least two 10ths of a degree over 36.6 to indicate a thermal shift and then see what happens after that to confirm it but that is really after the horse has bolted isn't it!?

The good news is that you, like me, might still have a few days good days left to make September a lucky month! We are cycle buddies too

Temp i feel like gaving up, but i know i cant, see what it looks like at the end of the month see if i can pin point when it happened "pin the tail on the donkey" more like, i might not even need the chart, could have a pos at the end of this cycle anyway, than i can stuf the temp chart where the sun dont shine!

No sign of the witch so far today. Day 29. I did give in and by 2 tests this lunchtime. So if no sign by time i get home i might just test. I have NO will power btw!!

Hello I'm sorry to but in but I was in your position not so long ago so just want to be of help to others ttc.
Angsthase- I had a mc and didn't give myself enough time to recover so had another few months after. My doctor didn't give me advice but sister is peadiatrician and she told me that after a mc you have a higher chance of another miscarriage or multiple foetuses. I was so f**ked at the time I never asked her why this was the case!! Must call her tonight. Anyway she said to wait minimum of 6 months. I didn't wait. After that hormones went so mad I stopped ovulating and so had healing, reflexology and accupuncture and now have a daughter.
I also wouldn't stress about when your ovulating -so long as you do ovulate thats all that matters. Some sperm can live longer than a week. so just pounce on your man every couple of days and make sure he's getting enough zinc!
I really feel that ovulation stress slowed it all down for me. hormones are so linked to our emotions, the more we worry the more crazy they go.

I've been trying for 13 months now and no where! But i'm staying pos and getting loads of advice from lots of MNers, hopefully this is the month!

Thanks MrsMcjnr i hope AF does show up soon, the tests i got were from Ebay and from bestsellers there are 10m so not sure if they are the most sensitive.

Am going to wait until Sep 5th and if no AF going to dr to make him give me the drugs to bring it on.

anyone heard from coggy? as she was at appointment today

i am really shocked! we only bd'd once this month and i think it was a day or two before ov. Was trying to be relaxed about it as dh was a bit wobbly about it. i have felt a bit sick on and off for the last week and last week my boobs were tingling a fair bit. But i honestly thought af was on her way as i have felt crampy all afternoon. think my edd is 2nd May, going by my lmp.

im glad for u april meadow and hope u enjoy ur pregnancy i loved it when i was having charlie apart from morning sickness lol me too hoping this month is my lucky month but only bn tryin few week so time yet

Babymad - hello! cool name! I made sure he took zinc cos that helps make sperm and then I ate anything I wanted even if it was junk food (I'm normally a total health freak with food) and I had accupuncture once a month, reflexology 3xmonth and some healing from 2 different people. Have to have a really open mind! one of them does past life stuff and she saw in a past life I'd been infertile with same partner and carried fear through to this life so she cleared it. felt strange after! Sounds so mad but I've done many clearing things with her for other things and its always changed my life. She could see I was pregnant before I tested, she knew it was a girl and she knew it would be late and end up in emergency section!! She could see the soul light near me for over a year. I really believe that its the baby that chooses us and the fact you want a baby means that there is a soul near you, prodding you into action. Sorry if that sounds mental!

My dad died last June after just 6 months of cancer! He was my all, my family (i dont talk to my mother, 8 brother or sister due to alot of thing, alot of things were said after my dad died i couldn't hold back no longer) has now fallen apart but I have my DH and two Ds's to keep me from going off my head!

Also I've thought about Chinese med so I will look into that next week!

certain af is on her way terrible tummy pains this evening, so looks like no luck for me this month
even more as me and dp have decided to take a break from ttc. dp's blood pressure sky high, doc says to cut all stressful activity down for a few months. plan to re evaluate at xmas.
not going to use contaceptives... just not activly trying for another baby.
at least i can keep a diary for a few months noting temps etc to get the hang of my cycles. another bonus, its my 21st in december so at least i will be able to drink now

At least you can get more selfbody information never know then you might be able to pin point when you OV and get PG first month activity TTC
I wnanted to have a few months break but DH said no, which really, i'm glad about, bad day that day!

Hello Babymad that's horrendous about your dad you must feel indescribably terrible. He must stil be very close to you. Family stuf is so deep isn't it? Have you read Through Time Into Healing by Brian Weiss? Its all about souls and familes and lifetimes. He's one of a group of psychiatrists researching into reincarnation so his books are documented sessions of regression with his patients. Its amazing that medical doctors are willing to risk their reputations. You must have had many lives with your dad and no doubt many more to come.

Morning ladies, CD13 for me and EWCM for first time (the things we can say on here!! ) I think all the pre-ov potions must have been working.

Downside is that I feel lousy, I was just moaning about this on another thread so sorry for duplicating, I have a splitting headache, have cramps, feel sick but know I won't be, feel very grumpy and very tired and not much like BDing. I am never normally grumpy or snappy, DH even asked me last night if AF had arrived! That said today and tomorrow are my best chance this month and DH is out tonight drinking .

How are you all? Manuka - I like the way you think and the things you say are very interesting. I am convinced my first child will be a girl and I have no idea why. My sister and I were convinced her first child was a boy and he was.

NattyandThomas - that is worrying for you about DP, as the others say, it might happen even on limited BDing if you get the timing right.

Maluka, thanks for your infos. I mc'd in May, but I can't really wait 6 mths as I'm already 39 and if I can't conceive naturally will have to start my NHS treatments in Oct, as my eligabillity runs out when I turn 40. But I may ask my friend who does reiki to give me a session or two
