on cd9 :) feeling hopeful this month, anyone joining the feb bus?

anyone used opks? When do i start using these?
I'm in loads of the threads on here but there just hundreds of comments i can't keep up lol so thought i would start a fresh.....

OPK's, I used mine straight after AF this month cus I wasn't sure what my cycle was doing. Normally I'd say around cycle day 10 if you're on a 28 day cycle.

Oh i'm on that tooo haha! Cool its' day 10 tomorrow for me, i only have 10opks so hopefully thats all i need haha!

This month is my first month with opks (clearblue ones). I've had flashing smileys on cd9,10 and 11 so far! Today is cd12! If I don't get a peak soon I'm going to run out. I'm ov'ing really early considering my cycles are about 38 days at the mo.

Ohh that's good to know, so do you ov earlier if your cycles are longer? I'm confused with all this first time mummy!!
I just can't wait another month, this has to be our month, if its not i think i'll break down lol! Been 3 months since my mc in November so i need this to start picking myself up properly again

Had a flashing smiley yesterday and today. My app says I will ovulate next sat but I think it will be Wednesday from what my OPK says.

I always thought long cycles meant you ov later as af is linked to when you ovulated.. But it's the opposite with me! So god knows what my body is doing in the time between ov and af arriving!!
Hoping to get a peak with the opk soon otherwise I'm gonna run out of them!

I thought so too hun, I'll do one today I think see what its saying, I just bought cheapy ones online.... so fingers crossed if not partner knows he needs to dtd pretty much every day until 3rd or 4th so i dont miss it haha!
how long do they say the sperm lasts for? just incase I miss a day/morning with him working nightshift mon-fri

I think it can live for up to 5 days? I always forget...

well except our miscarrage in november.. lost baby at 10 weeks, so ttc again :)
it was a surprise shock that time, so now we are trying its harder lol... and a lot more stressful!
I done an opk today but it was negative... have you tried the sperm meets egg plan? I'm trying to folloe that this time!

My OPK fpashing yesterday surprised me. Cycles all over the place since starting ttc :/

I have 10 pg tests too, not that i'll need them all but they are there anyways! i always test too early cant help myself lol

My cycles have always been regular til this month/last month =/

Last month (and most months before) I had my first flashing smiley at day 11 compared to this month first flashing smiley at 8dpo...

I ordered 20 internet cheapies yesterday and have got 3 branded tests as well to confirm if I get a BFP lol

Except i'm not ovulating yet, done test today just internet cheapies still nothing, but will dtd tonight.... As in fertile window anways, and just hope for the best, your ovulation really early as date on app says the 2nd feb on a regular 28 day cycle, so hope the opks work and tell me when exactly... Will you do anymore opks? Or just dtd now until at least next weekend?

I'm surprised by my fertile window showing up this early so maybe I won't be on a 28 day cycle this month? It's all a bit new after having regular 28/29 day cycles for like 8 years.

Yeah I'd just keep dtd as you are. Do your tests show fertile window? Or just ovulation?

I'll carry on testing til I get a solid smiley :) Last month I had 3 flashing smileys before a solid so if it's the same I will get a solid smiley on Tuesday... If I ovulate then or Wednesday though I would've thought AF would arrive 14 days after otherwise my luteal phase must be messed up. ARGH! :P

Yeah that's good though..... No i don't think they do, just have the little lines if the bottom ones fainter than the top then its a negative.... But i'll do one each say as they say, and just hope for the best, again as long as i'm dtd at least every night until after next weekend i should have caught my ov day? Surely!! You would think so anyway lol!

This is the first time i have planned it where as last month we only dtd like 3 times but we did so in my expected ovulation day, but nothing happened so i have no idea, so first time with the tests and we'll see what happens!

Hmmm i don't know, normally they say you ovulate within the 48 hours.... So thats strange? Google it lol.... I keep getting negatives so nothing for me yet, but will continue to dtd and hope for the best

Due to ov this weekend, but following sperm meets egg plan.... Cd9 today i thought i was cd9 yesterday but it was only cd8, so dtd last night, miss tonight dtd tomorrow, and again until i get the 2 dark lines!!
I'm beginning to lose patience, i think the more us girls think,plan, and over do it the least likely we will conceive!!
So this week just trying to enjoy dtd with the dh and take it as it comes, i will be super upset though in 20 days time when af is due to arrive and i get a BFN!!
