Am I pregnant or just mental?! :0/

Always regular (28 day cycle.) AF was due on Jan 20th. On the day I had (very little) brown spotting and later on that night when I wiped (once) it was bright red. But that was it. I didn't have to wear as much as a panty liner to contain things - it was pretty non-existent. I have always had a 5 day period that follows a specific pattern so this is way out of the ordinary for me.
Anyway, I've now poas twice and got BFNs. I wouldn't be as worried about things were I not suffering hugely from symptoms (sensitive nips, random crying at random things - seriously every single day, daily squits (TMI!), tummy cramps (which I normally don't suffer with), sore lower back and (according to DH) snoring like a warthog.)

Know I've just to sit at the 'am I pregnant' bus stop for a while but I feel like I'm going crackers. Has anyone experienced anything similar? Can anyone advise? Thanks in advance!

When was the last time you tested?

What colour dye?

Did a CB digital last Tuesday and was bfn. At that time I thought I was later on than I actually was. I handed sample in to GP Friday and have to phone tomorrow afternoon for result. Not been actively ttc. DH normally withdraws at the crucial moment but over the festive we lapsed a few times. I'm pretty sure it would have been too early in my cycle to conceive though.
I do think a lot of it is in my head but the actual proper physical symptoms (ie the very light, non-existent period and ridiculous crying) are making me wonder!

You could have ovulated later in your cycle and may have to wait a few more days for a positive test.

Try the superdrug pink dye tests, I tried one and it gave me a really clear line 2 days before my missed period. Withdrawing isnt the most effective method of contraception.

Thank you ladies. I will see what report I get from my GP surgery tomorrow and take things from there. I already have a child (ds. 4 yrs) and did not suffer from such early symptoms with him however, he was a surprise. Had always thought I had a fertility problem so we had gone about 3 years with no contraception before we conceived. Had contraceptive implant but that was removed last march due to another medical issue. We've just used withdrawal since then - DH is remarkably controlled! The last time he ejaculated inside was the 30th Dec so surely if it was then, my hpt would be showing bfp by now (if I was pregnant)? And I'm sure (or thought I was sure) I was only on cd 8/9 at that time.
Seriously confused. I could cope one way or another but that would take AF showing up or a BFP which thus far has eluded me. Aaaaarghhhh!

Another 2 BFNs. One from GP sample test from Friday and one yesterday with hpt. Planning on not testing until next Monday by which stage I will be 2 weeks late (if I can restrain myself and if AF doesn't arrive, that is.)
Humphhhhhhh

Still feel odd too, just not myself and DH has now commented 3 times on my boobs feeling heavier.

The wait continues...
