If you’re over 30, ttc over 12 months and wearing nipple tassels under your snowsuit then this just might be the thread for you - if you can prove yourself bitter and evil enough. We’ll be the judge of that. Don your snowsuit , cowbell ready - fill in the BESHtionnaire and prepare to meet our icy glare. This is a marathon, not a sprint.

I don't know. I'm starting to recognise the signs of awful stress in myself and I don't know what to do about it. It's the heart thing mainly. I've had too much to deal with - I think it's starting to hit me.

Normally I'd go for a fast, hearty yomp and then down a bottle of red wine. Can't do either.

The on off nature of the electricity and endless violent frightening storms aren't helping. We're counting every penny, so I can't go and lavish money on myself. Ww need to have completed the house move by next Friday or we'll be charged another month's rent at the same time as the first mortgage payment. The car is broken. I've been phoning the estate agent daily and they keep saying they'll get back to me and they "understand the urgency" and they'll stress it with the solicitors, but still nothing happens. Apparently the women who's dealing with it all is off sick today. FFS

I can feel myself start to lose it. I haven't felt like this for about ten years. Don't tell me to go to the doctor. I've seen enough doctors. I just need things to start going right.

FrankelInFoal · 06/02/2014 18:13

I'd be tempted to start throwing my weight around Hest, that if the solicitor hold ups cause you to have to pay another month's you expect that figure to be deducted from their fees. You are not holding it up - they are.

FrankelInFoal · 06/02/2014 18:13

Another month's rent

HesterShaw · 06/02/2014 18:16

I tried, honestly I did. I went in there today. They would probably threaten us with court action if we did that.

FrankelInFoal · 06/02/2014 18:19

They won't do that Hest, you are not the cause of the hold up. Can you bypass the EA altogether and talk to your solicitor?

HesterShaw · 06/02/2014 18:21

Huh. The solicitors are through them. I will be asking for a feedback/customer survey thingie afterwards anyway.

Yes but you need a week between exchange and completion, yes?

FrankelInFoal · 06/02/2014 18:43

I might be wrong, but I thought it was possible to exchange and complete on the same day? The legal ESH might be able to help on this.

FrankelInFoal · 06/02/2014 18:46

[

FrankelInFoal · 06/02/2014 18:46

This might help Hest

We exchanged and completed the same day (less than a month ago). Exchange was v late afternoon, completion 15 mins later ish. That was a Friday so we also verbally agreed with seller/buyer to do physical move on the Sat. Worth pointing out some lenders do like more notice to draw down funds

HesterShaw · 06/02/2014 19:43

Good plan.

We've been into the bank and they can transfer in two hours.

Bugs you're right! SSG was working in Asia for most of my 2ww which was the only thing that stopped me testing before OTD. Now, breathe & repeat after me --> IOTO. IOTO. IOTO.

FrankelInFoal · 06/02/2014 21:42

It was an already established joke? Oops Blush
