Anyone hanging around with a bfn and no af?

Waiting around 3 days late bfn and awaiting the af so I can get right back on with ttc! I have a monitor to try out and can't start til it comes!! Anyone else waiting the inevitable?

Thank you both kindly. I'm still in shock and almost don't believe it but that's 3 tests now with faint lines. I should also mention that today is my birthday! Great present indeed!
tinks I hope you get some sort of resolution soon. It is a hideous situation to be in, for sure. Hopefully some of my luck will rub off on you. X

Groovester was this the first time you tested or had you hsd any bfn previously? Trying to work out if your facts give me hope (as I've not had AF since early January and I'm on a 21 day cycle). X

My last proper period was at Christmas. I have a 28 day cycle. In January, I had a "blink and you'd miss it period" - basically only present when I wiped for a day. I didn't have to wear anything to protect my underwear. I took many tests last month and 3 weeks ago, even had a blood test at the GP surgery. All of these tests (the hpt and bloods) were BFNs. I put it down to a blip in my cycle. However, judging by my dates, February's period should have arrived on Sunday. It has not appeared (nothing at all) so last night I did a cheapie internet hpt. A faint line appeared but took longer to do so than the allotted 3-5 mins. I went out today and bought first response and clear blue tests (non-digital) Both first response tests turned positive very quickly. I've also done a clear blue and that doesn't look as strong. The cross has shown up but very very faintly. I'm putting that down to the fact that it was a late afternoon pee as opposed to morning time. So I now have 4 positive results and an appointment with my GP on Tuesday which will hopefully confirm things. I've been tired and have really sore boobs. Hope this helps you a bit xxxx

Fingers crossed - gives me hope as sounds pretty similar to me! Just thought that as I usually have a shorter cycle it would have shown by now. :(

Yep, definitely out. I'm not too upset, as we hadn't really started trying but typical of my body to start playing games with me and make me think I might be! Timing would have been good as well so now will need to avoid a Christmas baby...

I've stopped testing now, getting that empty feeling when that second line doesnt appear :(
Gonna hold off until the weekend to test again. Thats if af hasnt showed yet and if no show think il call my gp see if i can get an app for a check up make sure everythings ok since mc

It's all so frustrating tinks and jsb. I was like you tinks and stopped testing until I missed a further period. Saw midwife today. The problem with my situation is working out my dates now. I could be 5 weeks but could easily be 9 weeks. So end of sep or oct for due date. Just have to wait for 12 week scan to see where we are at. I'm definitely showing though and trousers are tight so I think I might be further on. Who knows?!

I tested tonight bfn!! Cd39 now and no signs of af coming!! We dtd on the 15th feb, so not sure if i ovulated later? But i very much doubt it, would be 12dpo if that was the case so if no af by friday il test again and if no af by monday, gonna phone the doctors see whats going on! longest af ever even after mc in november af was 37 days after that then 34 days, so i dont know whats going on girls. But i am severely fed up now. I just want af to hurry up so we can get back on to it again and try again for a march bfp!

Have you got an appointment with doctor tinks? Mine came once I decided I was going to get an appointment! Going next week anyway as my cycle has become a bit erratic and been suffering from cramps for last month anyway. Hope you get it resolved soon x
