3dpo - Do we still need to dtd?!

Hi, am just looking for a bit of advice from you wise ladies please. I got a smiley on clearblue digital ovulation test on cd12 which was saturday but then ran out of test sticks so couldn't test anymore! I think this makes me 3dpo.

This month we dtd on days 9, 10, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16. Should we do it this evening too or is it too late? Am exhausted so know the answer I am hoping for! No doubt the all too crucial day will have been day 11 when OH was out!

I'd have a rest if I were you. Once an egg has been released it only survives for 12-24 hours anyway. It sounds like there would have been plenty of sperm ready and waiting for it

No Wonder your tired! I would say you DTD enough
We DTD 9,11(twice) and 12. I got a+ opk on 11 and I usually ovulate the next day. I'm doubting we DTD enough this month.

I agree that you've dtd enough and have given yourself a great chance of being pregnant this month. Have a night off!

Goodness! You're making me feel anxious about letting DH have last night off! We DTD on days 13, 12, 11 and 9, got a +ve OPK on day 12. But I have to admit that that I did slightly force myself on him on day 13! Thought the poor bloke deserved a break

Ha ha these poor DHs eh. This is exhausting business!

I DTD the day before and the day after my smiley both times I got pregnant (circumstances didn't allow DTD on the actual day either time!).

You're also meant to stop testing after a smiley. :-)

5 days in a row is hardcore. Well done!

If you got a smiley on CD12 you may not have ovulated until CD13 therefore don't worry too much about CD11.
