Oh no! Is it a faint line or an evaporation mark?

So, I'm due on my period on 27th/28th ish. I tested on Monday AM and yesterday afternoon. Both negative I think. I tested this morning with morning wee and it was negative so I popped it in the envelope with the other negative tests (so DH doesn't know how much I've been obsessing about it and I can bin them all together later). This afternoon I thought I'd just have a quick look at them to check and one of the three has a faint line on it! Not sure which one though...
Could also be an evap line because it's outside the 10 min window. It's the same width as the control line though, just fainter.
I think I need some emotional support!

Does it have colour or is it grey?

Ime a line with colour is a positive even it it develops sometime after the 10 min cut off... Test again in a couple of days, it's VERY early, and implantation at this stage is still risky ... sadly lots of embryos never make it past the first week or two and that's why testing AFTER you period is due is maybe more sensible. Although I also tested obsessively and didn't take that advice!

Only way you'll know is by doing another test!

It's pink. I tested again and got another faint line! ooh. Will try to contain my excitement until next week!

Amazon cheapies. Hence the huge numbers I've been using. I think they are about £6 for 20.

I have been getting faint positives in amazon cheapies too - however now I'm actually due I'm getting nothing.

I suspect I've had a chemical pregnancy so it wasn't meant to be.

My advice would be discard the result and test when you're actually due. I probably wouldn't follow that advice myself though so all I'm going to say is good luck and I hope this it for you.

Oh dear squeaky. Are you only using amazon ones? I know some other brands can be less sensitive.

I agree it's a good idea for me to hold back on ordering the nursery furniture right now! I will probably test obsessively for a week, whatever the eventual outcome but I know a faint positive doesn't guarantee a baby. If only it were that simple! Good luck to you, has AF arrived yet?

No it hasn't arrived yet. Due today or tomorrow but just wish would hurry up now. I've tested every day too :/

Don't rule yourself out yet squeaky! I did and the tables turned for me :)
Do another test bears, or you will drive yourself potty, but I bet you are pregnant :)

I had a faint line too after the time suggested.
Had an early mc the following week which was just like a very heavy period (although bit different and went longer)
I would suggest to avoid driving yourself crazy to hold off testing too early and to avoid any disappointment :(

Awwww sorry AF got you bearsandtoys. Guess we should all take this as a lesson not to test too early especially with those cheapie tests x

Chemical pregnancy here too... And after getting faint BFP and a real BFP at the end of the week I started bleeding :(
Looks like it's on to cycle 2 :(
