Me and the DH are have been trying since the start of the year to conceive (no we're not expecting miracles in just under 3 weeks) BUT i have a slight issue with his 'staying power' shall we say. We'd been using condoms for the last 4 months after i was recovering from a Sept MC, and i know its a bit of a compliment that my bits feel that great after 4 months of his bits having to be encased in latex, but i would like to DTD for longer than 2 minutes. Don't get me wrong we've never been marathon bonkers, 15 minutes tops, but any hints/tips to make things last would be appreciated BlushThanks

Hee hee sorry this made me laugh a little. Um no tips really but at least he's completing the deed which is obviously vital for baby making ;)

Do it twice?

Luckystar1 · 20/01/2014 16:31

I was actually googling tips on the opposite the other day!! I love my dh and I love dtd, but all this dtd is taking its toll and I just want it over with!!!

Op I wish I had your problem!!! (sorry no help!!)

eurochick · 20/01/2014 16:32

If it takes a while, you will end up being grateful that he can give his contribution efficiently, so be careful what you wish for.

Bumpforme2014 · 20/01/2014 22:32

Haha like lucky star we have the opposite problem, I would rather have your problem though bish bash bosh, job done. Preggars lol

My dh recites the alphabet in animals to keep him goin! Funny little trick but it works!

SnowBells · 21/01/2014 00:38

OP - when you are ttc… I don't think you want him to last any longer than that. The longer he has to keep it up, the more tired he will be over the next day or two to dtd again. Blush

I was going to say, be careful what you wish for, but was beaten to it! Grin

toots123 · 21/01/2014 07:11

No tips but we have the same issue. Just as im getting into itits over so I know how you feel.

I even mentioned it to dh and he wasnt happy about me saying something so I wont bother mentioning it again! Haha

SaggyOldClothCatPuss · 21/01/2014 09:25

Give it time. Smile

TTC is all new and exciting for him. He's probably really proud of his 'achievements'! Wink
Give it another few weeks and you'll probably find that the novelty wears off and you'll be checking out the cracks in the ceiling and making mental shopping lists with the best of us! Grin

Writerwannabe83 · 21/01/2014 09:30

Grin @ saggy - that made me laugh out loud!!!!

Wharm14 · 21/01/2014 14:19

You could spend longer 'fooling around' before hand so when it comes time to DTD you are further along in the process so to speak! Grin

Blueuggboots · 21/01/2014 14:32

Get him to think about your mum's pants on the washing line or something equally disturbing!!!! Wink
