No AF but BFN

Hello, TTC #1 4th cycle since having coil removed in sept 2013. AF due y/day - no sign. Tested this morning BFN. Time to give up hope on this month yet? Any words of wisdom, experiences welcome x

Hi don't give up hope! I got a BFP 12 days after AF was supposed to make an appearance - I was going insane! Still early days fingers crossed for you x

Awww thanks for that - every little bit of reassurance that all is not lost helps. You wait two weeks, then you're late and then a negative and more waiting!!! Arrrghhh

Oh yes I know how you feel! Very frustrating. Are you getting any symptoms? I didn't have much except a few cramps and a pulling across my tummy. I'm 7 weeks and the only symptom I've got is to fall asleep every afternoon then go to bed at about 9.30! Xx

Not really, I had some cramping on sat and thought that was AF making an appearance. Feel a little light headed today but I suppose that could be put down to other things. Absolutely no indication of AF making an appearance though which I'm thinking is good. Slight tingling of boobs but again could be an AF symptom. Congrats on your BFP - fingers crossed you continue to have an easy time of it symptom wise

Don't give up hope until AF arrives! If you stand it, wait a day or two then retest.

Thank you!!! I am doing my best not to think about it. Every time I have to go to the toilet i am praying no AF - but of a change from my early 20s when you would pray for your AF to arrive. Hubby's 30th first weekend in feb so would love it if I could be!!!!! But not putting too much pressure on myself (yeh right ?!)

I was similar a week ago, cycles normally last 28/30 days for
Me, me and dh where trying to conceive this month and really hoped after 34 days cycle i was going to get a bfp!!
Then sadly my af came last sunday and has finally finished today after 5 days! Now to start all over again.
Although i am using ov kits this month, i just dont know when to try the first stick ...... Any ideas girls?

Sorry to hear AF arrived baby. I think opks from about cd8 but I'm by no means an expert! Good luck x

Thanks cakebaker... Think i will follow the sperm meets egg plan.... I have 10 opks, and 10 preg tests lol although hoping to only need 1 of those in 2 weeks time!!
5 days past first day of af... SMEP stated to have sex 8 days into cycle.... So for me this is Saturday! This is where my journey begins!!
