How soon is too soon to POAS?

AF is due on Thursday, we have been TTC for approx 19 months. I ovulated on 10th Jan. Over the last few days I have been backwards and forwards to the toilet constantly, getting up in the night desparate for a wee, Something which I never normally do! I also felt terrible first thing this morning, very sick, I came close to actually vomiting a couple of times (sorry TMI!!)

I know I really should wait to see if AF arrives but I am getting impatient, it's not possible to imagine the sickness and increased need to pee Is it?!!

What do you think? How soon is too soon?!

If you test today or tomorrow it is likely to be negative even if you have conceived. I would wait until at least Monday, Tuesday if you can.

Thanks both! I know I need to wait it's just soooo hard not to get my hopes up! I will just have to keep my fingers crossed that the toilet trips and nausea continues and that there is a very good reason for it!

I don't want to get my hopes up too much but I can't help it! Xx

11/12 dpo is the earliest you can reasonably expect a positive. You need to use FMU and a sensitive test.

Good luck.

I got a clear positive at 12dpo with a first response early response.

However, I then had 3 days of angst that I was going to come on as normal! I think if we TTC again I will try to wait until I'm actually late to save the worry.

If you are tempted to test, I'd avoid digis as I know lots on here (and in RL) who have had false negatives early.
