Getting over ectopic

I had urgent surgery for a ruptured ectopic about a month ago (didn't know I was pregnant, but we were TTC), and I'm still a wreck emotionally. I'm exhausted, crying at the drop of a hat and really putting DH through the mill. I just want to know how long it was before you stopped feeling so hormonal and tearful all the time? I feel like I should be starting to get better now, but I'm stuck.

I'm so, so sorry to hear about your EP.

It probably took me 6 weeks to be able to control my grief, and recover physically. It took til her return from ML for me to be able to face the work colleague due about the time my baby would have been due.

Were now several years down the line, and I have 2 kids, conceived easily with just the one tube.

I found the chat board from the ectopic pregnancy trust very helpful for information, support, and support again when pregnant following an EP.

Thanks

Took me 6 weeks to be reasonable and 10 weeks to feel back to myself and positive.

Sorry for your bad times, but there is still hope
