af just arrived so im out for the 3rd cycle

seem to have a cycle of between 27 to 29 days

is it dtd every other day from the day af disappears until day 15?

I have a 29/30 day cycle and I don't ovulate untill around day 17. We tried basically every approach but every other day from AF was getting too much and by CD16 we were ready to give up. I'm currently 11.5 weeks pregnant and the month we conceieved we didn't start dtd untill CD14 and then 15,16,17 and 18.

So you could be stopping a little early...have you tried temping/ovulation tests to give you an idea of when you are ovulating?

I should add I have been trying for 18 months with a miscarriage and ectopic inbetween so my cycle etc my not be completley 'normal' just thought I'd share my input from someone who has a 29 day cycle.

Sex two or three times a week throughout the month is fine.

I was also think that you are stopping too early on day 15.

ive tried the cheap ovulation sticks but find it hard to do them in the afternoon with being at work

the last 2 cycles ive had bad sharp pains around day 13 -14 so presumed I ovulated then

I also used the cheap ovulation tests and I tested every evening at about 6/7pm. Never was a problem for me and I always got a strong positive on about day 16.

I agree with the others- you could be stopping too early.

how long did you leave between wees when you used them? I'm wondering if im going to soon and not letting the hormones build up

I used the cheapy ovulation sticks for over a year and used them with first morning urine...they worked fine
