when doing iui how many follicles should you be able to see before 1 matures fully. I've read that anything less than 4-5 is poor. i remember when I had iui there were about 3-4 follicles before 1 ending up maturing.
I assume during a normal cycle should have a few follicles knocking about.
Would anyone know what the norm is or able to remember how many follicles you had running up to ovulation while having iui treatment

I had an IUI mid july and I had 4 follicles in each side, they almost didn't do the IUI because i had so much, but i ended up going through the IUI procedure but it didn't turn out for me. going on my second IUI august 8th so 4 is good thats what they told me.
I wish you the best in luck.

I had 3 or 4 follicles when on clomid the last time and they said that I had responded VERY well to it, they also said if there were any more they would have advised me against ttc that month because if the risk of multiple pg.

I thought 3 or 4 was very good but maybe it's different for IUI?
