I've just under 5 years between mine, for various reasons. Both boys and they are very close indeed, especially now the older one is at secondary school, they are like glue after school and at the weekend often sleep over in each others room. I don't think age gaps affects closeness, but I suppose it's all down to personal experience, good luck!

Hi, I've got 5 years between mine as it took a while to conceive second time round. Luckily mine are quite close even though they like differet things, I wouldn't worry about the gap things just work out!! xxx

My daughter will be 16 if we get bfp soon. Little bit more of an age gap than I would have liked but hey ho, things don't always go to plan do they :(

Life got in the way and now ttc is taking longer than I hoped. My DD is fast approaching 6 and no sign of a bfp here. I've told myself to stop thinking about it because any addition to our family at any time would be welcome!

10 years between my two.

2.5 years. Very hard for the first year when DC2 was born (and expensive) but has paid off massively as they have got older.
