Me and the other half have been ttc for 5 months now. I know it isn't long at all, especially after reading so many of people's stories on forums (been lurking on forums since day one lol)

We have a few issues. I was diagnosed with pcos years ago and we started ttc after a ?chemical when I had a car accident which displaced my coil.

Started losing hope a bit, have my first appointment with the gynae consultant next month.

Was hoping to find some online mates to support each other. Anyone out there who has some motivation for me and fancies supporting each other. I feel guilty to admit I'm struggling after just a few months.

Big hi to everyone :)

Hello!!!
My and hubby started trying in sept,(been on the pill 9 years, had the coil fitted for 9months to allow the hormones out of my system) although I say that reluctantly as he works offshore so our windows of opportunity have been few and far between. I think this is not helping as he feels a lot of pressure when that ovulation window does present itself, but if we didn't he could be away for a month and then we'd have to wait another 2 months!!!

Arrrrgghhhhhh! I promised myself I would t become a total nut job, and that I wouldn't be hung up on doing ovulation tests etc! That lasted about 2 weeks haha!!

Good luck to you!! Sure it will happen soon!!!

Mrsmorrison13 · 14/01/2014 20:19

Hi ladies can I join you ? I'm 31 TTC #1 cycle 5 now my last two cycles have been chemicals the last one ( last week) was horrible because I actually felt pregnant Hmm

Anyhoooo onwards and upwards were going to try dtd every deck d day and hope that's enough, baby dust to you guys xxx

Ajords1 · 14/01/2014 20:20

Of course you can join Grin more the merrier!

Can I show my nativity and ask what a chemical is?

I'm 28 (29 this yr) and ttc #1 - it's much much more stressful and complicated than I had ever appreciated!

Ajords1 · 14/01/2014 20:21

Obviously not nativity, I meant naivety Smile

Mrsmorrison13 · 14/01/2014 20:39

Lol at nativity !

A chemical pregnancy is where you get a positive pregnancy test but that the pregnancy does not fully implant resulting in loss and af Hmm

Apparently most people will have a few if these in their lifetime but usually do not know just think it's a heavy af, it's only because we are testing early that we get the positives

It really sucks Hmm x

Ajords1 · 14/01/2014 20:42

Oh no Sad sorry to hear that!

When is AF due this month? Feeling positive?

rightaboutthestars · 14/01/2014 20:46

Thanks for the reply :) I honestly didn't expect any. Ttc has made a pessimist out of me. I'm usually a full on optimist.

I know what you mean about being a nut job. Starting hiding my phone so my boyf doesn't see my google search history. Turning into the world's expert on pcos, ovulation and read up on cm more than any sane person would :/

Good luck to you too. I work crazy shifts and the man is a 9-5er so getting to it isn't always easy. Your man working away myst be so tough for getting support never mind getting down to it. Hah makes a difference ti be the one jumping my fella xx

Haha!!! I know what you mean about google history! If anyone is checking they'll be left with no question that we are TTC.

To give my hubby some credit when we are TTC he will fetch a pillow for me to put under my hips and leaves me with a cuppa for 30 mins!! Haha - not as romantic as the films!!!

Mrsmorrison13 · 14/01/2014 20:49

I'm only just finished today last chemical was just at the weekend, my cycles are generally 38 days so I have agesssss to wait x

Ajords1 · 14/01/2014 20:49

Oh no Hmm long cycles suck!!!!

Are you ovulation testing?

rightaboutthestars · 14/01/2014 20:51

Mrsmorrison :)

Sorry to hear about your chemicals. Its awful isn't it? Wish I'd never peed on that stupid test then I could just think it was another dodgy pcos cycle. Wonder how many dodgy cycles have been chemicals. Mister thinks its crazy it upset me so much. He thinks its like me mourning a period.

Never touching an early test again. (Lets see how long that lasts!!!!)

Baby dust to you too xx

Ajords :)

I'm on cd 3 atm. All optimism firmly out of the window, can't afford it :(

Seeing the gynae consultant on 4th february. Other half is chuffed at the chance I might get clomid and have triplets. Me, not so happy about the higher chance of triplets. Dont fancy the complications. See, pessimist :( xx

Hah I'm finally getting post sex cuddles cause he tries to stop me getting up. Hes not exactly the mushy romantic type. He can bring it when he wants to tho, gorgeous pandora bracelet this xmas. Hoping to put a baby charm on it one day :) xx

Mrsmorrison13 · 14/01/2014 20:57

Haha I say that too - ill not test until I'm officially 3 days late - then there I am 11 DPO riffling through drawers and cupboards like a junkie trying to get my have in any firm if pregnancy test lol !

Yes I use ovulation test I just love to poas tbh lol x

Ajords1 · 14/01/2014 20:59

Awwww sounds like you've got a good one there .....maybe 3 baby charms haha!! WinkWink

It really is much more scientific and prescribed than I imagined!!!! There I am again with my naivety (spelt right this time)Wink

rightaboutthestars · 14/01/2014 21:03

Yeah never thought I'd have a pee related hobby. I swap around chemists quite a bit so I don't get recognised as the hpt lady tho sure I'm not the only one.

My boyfriend wants me to not poas ever. To just wait and see if I get a bump. He wants to just do all the right stuff I would if I was upduffed all the time. No pate for me and goodbye to caffeine diet coke. He bought tons of the no caffeine gold stuff. I think maybe it's just his little way of coping with the chemical. He's being strong for me but it pops out in weird ways. He hates hpts. Xx

Ajords, not wrong. Never realised how much like a machine the body is. Just I have a broken cog....

He's a good un. Not the worlds greatest romantic. He does stuff more than says stuff and is far too practical. He thinks he's hilarious. Sure noone else gets woken up by someone poking their own finger up their nose :/

Jeez, three. That's more babies than I have arms! Do they even sell triple buggies? Xx
