I had a +ive ovulation test on 5th, DTD on 7th, AF due 19th, when would you recommend the earliest I can test if I'm too impatient to wait for the 19th?

If it were me then with that timing I could not be pregnant! I ovulate almost immediately after positive ov test, and egg would be dead by the time dtd two days later!

But in answer to your question 7 days after ovulation would be the earliest. But the statistics are ridiculously low rate of positive tests at this point, it would be a bit of a waste of money. You would need to make sure you use only the most sensitive tests at this point too. No point doing digital test at this point, and be prepared to squint and stare trying to decide if there is a line there or not!

Lloyds have a viola test that's really sensitive. I'm tryingto not do early tests after I got my fingers burned with a chemical but I have to talk myself out of buying one every month xx

I am due af on Thursday, I tested on Monday very faint bfp a real squinted. Then tested today and got my nice and clear bfp! So that's 3/4 days early! Good luck!

Well I was really tired and have a really sensitive gag reflex. I was rather emotional at the weekend which I put down the argument I had with my husband. It's a bit of a shock to be honest!

Ajords1 · 14/01/2014 21:42

Do you know though that is lovely to hear because you get so caught up in how you should be feeling, sore boobs and achy back etc! Tiredness and emotion that you can probably find 100 reasons per week for is good because then you just never know!!!! Keeping everything crossed, AF due Sunday.......Blush

I'm due at the weekend but have had BFN's so far. Really sore nipples last week and back to normal this week but with raised bumpicles. Going to test fri. Good luck!

Don't test too early, upsetting if you get a positive and then early miscarriage days later

OrangeFizz99 · 16/01/2014 15:10

I have had faint bfps at 10dpo. Bit of a silly thing to do though really as then if it is a chemical pg you'd know and might be better not to to be honest.

rockin20s · 16/01/2014 15:43

i got a really faint BFP on 9dpo and a clearer but still faint at 11dpo
