Dh and I are veterans of ttc and I thought I had seen every permutation of odd when it comes to pee sticks (false positives, disappearing positives, dotted blue lines, pink smudging across the test etc).
But today I used a First Response, fully expecting another negative as it appears my uterus may be broken.
The test immediately came up with two lovely bright pink lines, but one (the important one!) only went a third of the way down.
I called FR who told me this is still a positive. I was happy. i called Dh, but at the last minute decided not to tell him just yet.
Then I thought I would check again, just in case, so I squeezed out a few more drops into a mug, tested with the spare, and it was utterly utterly negative.
Disappointed doesn't really cover it.
