Anybody want to view my chart? 13DPO

I'm 13 DPO and this is my third month of temping. Normally my temp starts dropping at 11DPO and as you can see on my chart it hasn't this month.

I know I should prob take a test but I don't want to be disappointed.

Anybody fancy looking at my chart and giving their opinion?

Thanks x

I'm not sure about where ff has put your ovulation to be honest. You need three temps above the previous six to confirm ovulation and you don't get that on this chart until days 20-22. If ovulation was actually around day 18, for instance, then you'd only be 10 dpo now (which may well also be too early to test). I'd give it another three days and then test then if the temp is still up and your period hasn't started. But I know it's very hard to wait!

Thanks for the reply Kalidasa. I am still a novice when it comes to temping and am relying on FF to pinpoint ovulation.

That's interesting about later ovulation. I have been using CBFM for 10 months and it has always observed ovulation between day 13-15 and my cycle is normally between 28-30 days.

I haven't had any symptoms for AF or BFP. I normally get a headache a few days before BFP.

Guess will just have to see what happens over the next few days...

FF is not very reliable in terms of identifying ovulation in my experience - it doesn't apply the rules very consistently. If you haven't already you should read 'Taking Charge of My Fertility" which is great on all this stuff and explains it very clearly.

Obviously your past cycles are a good general guide to what is likely to happen but it is never a guarantee: even the most regular woman can always have an odd cycle with an earlier or later than normal ovulation (or no ovulation - but your cycle is definitely ovulatory).

Of course if you are having other symptoms you could do a test now. If ff is right about ovulation you'd probably get a reliable result, but if it's wrong you could easily get a negative even if you have conceived. Better to wait if you can bear to!

Hope you have your bfp soon. Toni weschler the author of the book has a pc programme that you can buy and imop it is better than ff. There is a website that has lotsof info but if you can read the book it is well worth it.
