Hello everyone I'm new on here and just wanted to vent to someone. Start with the story, My partner and I have only just taken the plunge on the baby journey after me wanting to try for 3 years so as you can imagine I'm so excited to get started. I came off the pill on 1st January and had the usual bleed that you have on your off week so now I'm just waiting to see when my first "real" period will show up.
I think at the moment I'm just feeling really impatient lol I know there's a chance of getting pregnant now but it's most likely to happen after a period. Does anyone else feel like this?? Sorry for such a long story just feeling frustrated as iv waited so long to even start trying. Thanks xx

Hey - I came off the pill in sept last year and had the usual withdrawal bleed followed by two 28 day cycles. Hubby and I started to try in Nov and thought I was pregnant because period was 12 days late, but all tests negative. Turns out my body is going crazy from coming off the pill. Now stuck with a 40 day cycle and having to use OPKs to predict ovulation!

Your suppose to wait three normal cycles from coming off pill before you try but reality is your body can take up to a year to become regular. As long as you get a 'normal' period I would start trying. Just try and use OPKs to find out when you ovulate, as long as that egg is released you can get pregnant.

Good luck, hope you get your BFP soon.
