For all of you who recommended Toni Weschler's book on Taking Charge of Your Fertility, thank you!

I got it on Tues night and have read the first two parts so far. It is really intersting from many perspectives and I just wish that I had not spent 18 years on the pill and instead learnt about my cycle and fertile and non-fertile days before.

I have my chart ready to use but am not really in the hang of it yet, I woke up at 4.30am and knew that as I had to get up at 6am and needed the loo, I had better take my temp then as would not have 3 hours more sleep. Annoying thing is that my temp is normally around 35.9c (is that normal!?) and TW's chart starts at 36 so mine is a mess already.

Still have not got a clue what preseed is though?

Thanks again.

pre seed is made by obi gyn, it is a sperm friendly lubricat you can use if you do not get any/much fertile cervical fluid
I got my book 3 mths ago, pressed two months ago
And after 3 yrs ttc #3 got my bfp the 3rd mth
Good luck!

I use www.tcoyf.com you can buy a software download that holds your chart on your pc for you, qute cheap I think maybe $15
It has a temp adjuster in it which really helps.

Thanks Piffle, so happy for you, you must be over the moon especially after all your patience in trying.

The book certainly seems to make sense and you begin to wonder how you ever worried about being pregnant in those younger years when actually, it is all a matter of timing. Might download that software. Another good tip, thanks.

my temps are 36.3 or 36.4 but peachy used to be quiet low some times

Also try www.fertilityfriend.com for free temp charts. I used that, it was quite good and gives you a clear indication of when you ovulate.

The book is fantastic, so interesting.

Don't worry about your temps too much; you'll soon start to see a pattern forming every month.

I temped for 3 months before my bfp! Good luck!
