Please help . Very worried

Hi all I'm new to the site.

Ok I've had the marina coil for about 9 months periods have gone lighter as I was a heavy bleeder .

But for past few days I've had really sore breasts that look and feel fuller also I've started eating a lot more than normal . I had period pains yesterday but nothing yet and I do bleed once a month still and withing a few hrs of having pains but still nothing.

My friends say get a test and a few have said they have got pregnant off it .

I went to my docs about a month or 2 back as the string from the coil was not long it was level with my cervix so I was worried but doc said its fine and she can still get it out when time comes

What do people think I'm really worried now as I have 4 children all by c-section so would be risky if had another but couldn't terminate if I am pregnant I'm really scared to do test

Do a test, you won't know anything until then I'm afraid. It's scary but has to be done!

Im just really scared . Because I don't want anymore because of the dangers it can cause for me and infant . But won't be able to terminate .

Like MissHobart said 'it has to be done'. Asking us unfortunately isn't going to give you the answer you need. As scary as it is, you really can only take a test to get an answer. I'm sorry you're so scared. I hope it's the outcome you want.

Do the test, you never know might be negative and if it isn't you'll get the best medical care sooner rather than later which could make all the difference.

If you can't bear to test go to GP/ have someone dip thestick.

Please do a test so you can get help if you need it. You don't know what you're facing until you have some facts to work with. Xx

Did test and come back negative . But still no sign of period . I think doc in order cause something not feeling right . I'm sleeping in lucky my hubby gets up with the kids cause I'm deep in sleep normally I'm up to get kids ready never felt like this while on marina coil till lately . I'm also mad for chilly powder in my food which I only used to use once in a while now its near everything I eat x

Well at least thats one worry out of the way, ie not pregnant with a coil in. Just get to the doctors to make sure it hasn't moved :) best of luck marie xx

Thanks I don't think coil moved as can slightly feel the threads .
