PCOS and TTC...

Is there anyone with PCOS out there… and getting slightly fed up of TTC? Had 21 (not sure the number?) day blood test done before Christmas (to figure out whether I'm ovulating), and should go back to the docs to get another blood test done (the one right at the beginning of the menstrual period), but AF now over a week late… so can't go!

PT is negative. Basically, I am on Day 42 now. I really want a positive PT in 2014 please…

Are your periods normally regular? And do you know when you ovulated? You may have ov'd later than you thought but fingers crossed it's a BFP that hasn't shown up yet

They are not regular (although they have been for a few months). However, it is getting close to the maximum cycle I've had for a year…

I'm with you! Diagnosed w PCOS in dec and now on metformin. Still awaiting AF and it's day 42.... Trying to lose a couple of stone and DTD around the time when I should be ovulating. Feeling frustrated!

Oh and had -ve PT on Sunday. Prib no point in testing again. Have been feeling a bit queasy due to the metformin but fingers crossed will help the PCOS

WeightyKaty - we seem to be doing exactly the same things!

GP did mention metformin - but hasn't prescribed it yet as tests have to be re-run (PCOS was diagnosed over 18 months ago when we were not TTC)...
