Trying to conceive, period has come a week early. Has anyone experienced this?

I have always been regular as clockwork, even when I have taken a break from my pill in the past. I have always fallen back, without variation to my normal cycle.

My period was due to start this Sunday, but woke up this morning to find I had come on early.

I had some cramping this morning and early afternoon, but not as intense as the menstrual cramps I have been getting since coming off the pill. Flow is slightly lighter than normal, and is brown and red with clots so I doubt it could be implantation.

Could it be just my body resetting, a sign I am not ovulating or an early/chemical miscarriage? Should I be worried?

Could just be your body still adjusting. Four days isn't that early. Do you definitely know when you ov'd?

Yeah, i think so, i tested the 2nd month after coming off, to find my cycle, but not since.

I had the pain I associate with ovulation and EWCM, but cant be sure.

Yes I had this. With clots. It was implantation. It lasted 3 days and I got BFP a few days later.

Thanks guys, i feel so out of control, which does not sit well with me. flow has lightened a bit. will see how i get on over the next couple of days.

I'm 8 weeks pg but was trying for five months.

Not bad really. Have had painful boobs since day one and am weeing constantly. Am nauseous every day and quite gassy too.

no! We've can't DS17 and a dd14 too!
The home stretch was going beautifully until I got some Godawful lurgy and have spent the week in bed! Sad

In all seriousness, I am an older sibling, 17 and 20 years difference. Your little girl is going to be so looked after!

I've told some people at work because I'm diabetic and have to go to lots of medical appointments now, plus my best friends and our parents/siblings. Just wanna shout it from the rooftops but will wait another four weeks!

I think this is happening t me! thought I was due on on Friday..Saturday but have been spotting non and off for a few days..brown sludge (tmi) then this morning watery blood in the toilet. went t work v upset but then not much when I checked this evening.

we did the deed on a positive opk so I did get my hope up a little I have t say! this really does mess with your head.

have u come bon properly now? x

Same happened to me 2 months ago but it was my AF a week early Sad fingers crossed for everyone. I'm now on my 2ww x

Hi! Yes, this happened to me back at the end of October. I had really started to think that I was pg, as my boobs were unbelievably swollen, I was constantly tired and had backache, then af appeared 6 days early. As af had shown I couldn't find out if it was an early mc. Hopefully this won't be the case for you and will be a sign of pg. This TTC sure does take it out of you emotionally. I'm on month 9 now...hoping 2014 will bring the pitter patter of tiny feet :-)

Hey smorgasborgen, I think it was AF early. Started to get a little heavier and lasted 4 days, which is normal for me.

Try not to obsess over it (it's all I do), but keep an eye. If it stays light and only sticks around for a day or two you might be......

I think we all go into TTC and think it will happen straight away, but alas it's not the case.

OK so although I felt like it was heavy when I went t bathroom it wasn't that bad.. and today not too much at all. no pregnancy symptoms so def not getting hope up but this period is weird!!! maybe t do with miscarriage though I guess! xConfused Confused
