So it's my first cycle of ttc number 3. I'm only 2dpo but I'm so, so impatient! Grin

Anyone else entering the 2ww madness? X

Got my first ever bfn this morning at 11dpo. Feeling pretty low and questioning my sanity now as I've had so many symptoms. Not testing again till Friday when AF is due.

sebsmummy1 · 14/01/2014 14:16

Argh sorry for those who are having bfns. I had 7 months of them and have cried buckets.

The only symptoms i had this month was some odd tummy gripes, some lotion discharge on 9dpo and pink when i wiped on 10dpo (i would never have noticed this as it was at about 4am but for some reason i turned the bathroom light on).

Some months i had all sorts of symptoms and nothing!

My boobs look and feel normal, i do feel very hormonal and snippy and really nothing else at all.

Vickitoriana · 14/01/2014 14:17

Omfg... I am doing my own head in now. The test i thought had a line on it yesterday deffo does now... I just picked it up to throw it away and it was much more obvious... So much so DD confirmed she could see it too. No daylight needed or tilting it to see... Its not a bold line but its there.

Lottystar · 14/01/2014 15:17

Viktoriana, lines darken after a few hours but that's when you can get evap lines too - what colour is it? The only way to know is wait and retest with your first morning wee tomorrow, I hope it is a line for you!

Sorry Poly, 11 dpo is still early tho. You're not out of the picture yet.

Sebsmummy, I'm snippy as just feeling ultra tired at the moment. Wishing time away to early March so I'm 12 weeks, I'm a stay at home Mum so whilst the boys keep me busy I have more time to think than I did when I was at work.

sebsmummy1 · 14/01/2014 15:24

im a stay at home Mum too Grin

PolytheneGirl · 14/01/2014 15:40

I'm a stay at home mum too! Also I'm looking after my best friends baby because she's just gone back to work. It's got me ultra broody!!

Vickitoriana · 14/01/2014 15:43

I think it was an evaporation line... Literally just did a CB digi because i was getting bit stressed and it was BFN. Those fake positives are a real head fuck!

Still spotting though... Thought it was developing into AF but that's fizzeling out. I'll give it a day or two and see if it develops. If not i'll do the other test with first morning wee on thursday.

sebsmummy1 · 14/01/2014 16:50

Vicki, the clearblue digis are not sensitive at all. I think they are 50 miu, so I don't think I would register on one at the moment. I have ordered two to arrive in the post but wouldn't expect to see a positive until maybe the weekend when I was well past my missed period.

Is your evap line coloured? If it is I think you are still in.

GlitterLily11 · 14/01/2014 17:52

Keeping fingers and toes and eyes crossed for all you ladies waiting for your bfp!

I've been getting an irritating cramp type pain on the right side of my uterus area. Going to GO tomorrow to get the pregnancy booked in so may mention it xx

PolytheneGirl · 14/01/2014 17:55

Anyone got any advice on which test is the best? I'm not planning on testing now until I'm officially late.

GlitterLily11 · 14/01/2014 17:56

Squeaky if I tilt my phone to the right I can see a very faint line. Fingers crossed they keep getting darker x xx

sebsmummy1 · 14/01/2014 17:57

P

GlitterLily11 · 14/01/2014 17:58

Hi Polythene. My favourite were the store brand ones, like asda, tesco or super drug. The it's I got were crap xx

sebsmummy1 · 14/01/2014 17:58

Polythene just pick a pink dye test like First Response, Superdrug own brand, SureSign or similar. To be honest if you plan on testing after you have missed a period most pregnancy tests should register a line with FMU.

PolytheneGirl · 14/01/2014 18:14

Thanks ladies. Looks like I'll be spending Friday afternoon stood staring at the shelf in Asda. That is if AF doesn't get me before then!

If it's bad news I'm planning on red wine and blue cheese all weekend!

GlitterLily11 · 14/01/2014 18:27

Fingers x. Do you have any symptoms that you have noticed? X

Vickitoriana · 14/01/2014 18:38

@sebsmummy... The line was faintly pink but if you hold it up at the window it's clear. It's funny you mention clear blue being insensitive, I was thinking that was the case because last year i got a BFN but was actually pregnant... It showed up on a digi when I was 4 days late. I am hoping the spotting will stop, will feel more positive if it does. X

sebsmummy1 · 14/01/2014 19:33

Vicki I've got everything crossed for you. I think it sounds quite positive.

PolytheneGirl · 14/01/2014 20:22

Hi glitter. I've had loads of symptoms since about 6dpo I started getting stomach cramps and a real pulling sensation, plus nausea and headaches. I'm also really bloated and I mean really bloated. I'm only small and I look about 6mnth pg. If it's not a pg symptom I'm going on a diet!! I've not had any bleeding or tender breasts though but I don't think I did with my DS either but I didn't ttc with him (happy days!!)

Charlie343 · 14/01/2014 20:27

Hello ladies, thought I'd come and join! Also on the dreaded wait for AF or BFP! Currently 2 dpo on cycle #3. Last couple of months felt like I have had all kinds of symptoms - probably the same tweaks and cramps I've had for the past 10 years only now I'm super sensitive to them!! Trying to switch off from symptom spotting but of coarse that clearly isn't happening!

Mrsmorrison13 · 14/01/2014 20:31

Hi girls hope your all doing well and for those waiting on BFPs that they come soon Grin

Just want to say how much it rips ma knitting that right at our most emotional and vulnerable time when your stood In asda praying your pregnant trying to decide which overpriced pee device to pick up hoping no one sees you lol that brands like clearblue etc trick us into paying 15 pound for 1 bloody test only for us to find out later that the ones out the pound shop are more sensitive lol .

Crazy !

In my next life I want to create a pregnancy test that's cheap and accurate that will hand you a tissue if you are and hand you one if you are not lol that you can take back and exchange for chocolate ( like the old glass juice bottles ) lol if it's a bfn

Lol x

PolytheneGirl · 14/01/2014 20:32

Good luck Charlie, it's such a hard slog getting through these dreaded 2w. My advice would be as hard as it is, focus on something else and come on here to vent and for support when needed. It does seem to be happening for plenty of MNers this month, so stay positive! Other than that, welcome to camp crazy symptom spotters!

PolytheneGirl · 14/01/2014 20:36

Well said mrsmorrison! Can we also have a test that works 1dpo please!?

Mrsmorrison13 · 14/01/2014 20:40

Haha how good would that be Grin

I got a brilliant parcel today SmileSmiledo you want to know what it was ? I actually eekked when I opened lol .....

PolytheneGirl · 14/01/2014 21:15

Go on..... Cheer me up!
