Poly I think the cheap Internet opks are fine! They work for me and not costly at all! I have backed them up with clearblue tests a couple of months but they always match up with the cheap ones and haven't actually opkd the last 2 cycles as kind of know now how my body works and we dtd a lot anyway!

mum2kiss Scotland is well worth a visit should you get the chance. I am not from the UK, moved here about 14 years ago, but Scotland is one of my favourite places on earth and I now consider it home despite how different it is from where I grew up, it sticks with you and you will want to come back! I really don't want to leave, partially because I really wanted our children to be born here (my parents are Scottish but I was born in Africa when they lived there). But so much of England is just beautiful too and it's a chance to explore more I think !

Onelife - thanks for the message! Yes will have to be mid week dtd which is not easy with work life but hey ho! Didn't dtd last night, so going to try for 3 days solid if we can! Ok with my cbfm, yes trying to limit sticks also, but finding it ok. I think if no more luck after 3 more months i may sell it and stick to ic instead to save me money!

To those seeking other methods to help long term ttc...I had reflexology today and really enjoyed it. It hurt a little and now have major ov pain...also coincided with my peak on my cbfm so feeling quite positive about the whole thing. Not finding the venos doing much...maybe i'm not taking enough? (10ml twice a day?) or maybe i'm just dry as up there! Sorry for the tmi!

Thanks mama. I think I might hope on amazon and have a look now. Probably won't tell DH about it and just pounce on him when the time is right! He does tend to complain about having too much pressure put on him and this is only cycle #1.

Mama and Kitty - yes specifically for fertility issues. After this long ttc thought it worth a shot.
Not cheap mama - £40 a 45 minute session...they work on your feet on specific points to help with 'problems'. It is not for everyone, as some see it as hippy nonsense, but I've heard good things and it was relaxing in parts - a nice foot massage until she came to work on the bit that was my ovaries when it hurt! I will let you know what happens. Giving it a go for at least 3 months and will go from there!

Oooooh I'm intrigued saz!! Tempted to try it! I have also read good things about it! So it can't just be a reflexologist, you have to specifically find a therapist who does it in relation to fertility?? Def considering this!

Not sure mama, mine is just a reflexologist that happens to specialise in fertility...but i'm sure most reflexologists would be able to help - i guess it is just about getting to know you, making you relax and working on a specific area of your foot? I just googled in my area and a couple came up.

Sazzle, sounds a good plan selling it on, you're what my nan would call a canny lass Mine sometimes misses my highs&goes straight to peak, but so far have always peaked, although not been using it consistently as think i'm fairly regular in the ov dpt (so WHY am I atill waiting I ask myself?! Daily.... Lol) We've just done a sneaky after wrk dtd,, but now ravenous&can't cook my risotto fast enough!!! Good luck to you, wish we could all have ttc leave, would make it whole heap
easier!

Choccywoccydoodah - I'm cycle 8 ttc #1!

Ok so had a BFN on Friday, AF still made no appearance so am now getting towards a good week and a half late. Had cramps and bloating today feeling like period was coming but still nothing, same as when she was actually due!

Why else would AF not make an appearance? Pre pill I was regular as clockwork now 8 months after pill I had a couple of regular cycles now this! I'm going stir crazy!!
