Another BFN to follow this mornings FR, this time on a Superdrug.
I'm trying to look at it as if this is a new cycle rather than the world's longest cycle ever! Which would put me at cd21. With an average 37 day cycle that means I could be ovulating any time from yesterday to Sunday (using the theory that ovulation is anything from 12-16 days before AF)

So kind of in the new 2ww??! AF/BFP due 23rd Jan.

Kitty apparently you can potentially irritate your cervix. When drs check it for anything, they never touch it, the just open you up so to speak, so she told me by any means to not touch it esp during bleeding after a bfp

Oh right, makes sense then really. I guess that's why some women don't dtd after ov time so not to irritate it further? ! Sometimes in certain positions dh can get really deep at hits the cervix (sorry tmi) which I expect is an irritant? Excuse me and my nativity

So in other news, I appear to have a bfp!!! Not sure what on earth is happening, since I had a very heavy period starting on 28th, so only 11 days ago. FF hasn't even detected ovulation but since I had a 5th day of really strong (getting stronger) opks, I thought, after googling, it was worth a try. Has anyone any ideas what is happening? I'm trying not to be excited as I don't really know how it's possible?!

Hi everyone! Hope I'm not barging in.

Congratulations to everyone who has had a BFP so far. Hopefully many more to come over the next couple of weeks! Currently ttc#1 and only on our first cycle. I've had a 27 day cycle every month for nearly seven years, so I'm hoping it stays that way (or not, as the case may be?) and I find out what's going on next week.

DH thinks I'm stockpiling tests. He might be right...

Was just ic's for both the ov tests and hpts. Still don't know what's happening, my last AF was so heavy it was almost like an mc so even thinking it could be the remnants of that but obviously really hoping not!
