polycystic ovaries and mixed preg test results

hi looking for advice very confused, had pcos for 5 months since coming off the pill ttc, this month i am on 61 days since last period for the 5 days before xmas i had 7 faint positive pregnancy tests with a couple negative on mornings, they then turned negative for the following 5 days so assumed theywere false positives as doctor said this can happen with ovarian cysts, she sent off a urine sample to lab to double check before she refers me for fertulity treatment, assumed it would be negative but came back as a weak positive so i have to give another sample on monday, anyway so i did a test this morning and i got negative. dont understand am i pregnant are lab tests more sensitive or is it just pcos playing up again, anyone expereinced this?

I'm confused. I thought a certain type of ovarian cyst could on rare occasions give a false positive, but not the polycystic type of cyst. I think you need to push for a gynae referral.

yea me too, read that some people do, doesnt make sense but got a really good doctor and she says if i produce enough of the hormone i can get faint positives, its driving me bad have sore boobs and everythng but wud of expected a positive this morning as it was 4 days since the lab test :/

I've never heard of that. I hope its positive for you! Are you using the same brand of tests each time?

yea most of the time its the freedom test strips sometimes sure sign test strips
