Implantation bleeding??

Hi all,

Today I'm 5 DPO of TTC#1 cycle 4.

Just been to loo and when I wiped I had about 5 separate pinhead sized red blood flecks there I have felt quite crampy today starting off on left hand size now on the right.

I also have really itchy skin,a headache blocked nose and soreish throat, and really full tender boobs and nipples.

What's the chances of this being implantation bleeding anyone any experience of this type ?

I had the EXACT same thing this month and posted on here about it. May have been low progesterone or IB, even though 5dpo is a bit early for IB. Turned out I did get a BFP! on New Year's Day so fingers crossed for you! :)

Hi I also had 2 days of spotting (brown very light bleeding) on 2nd-3rd Jan and have had nothing since. The first day was very scant spotting and the 2nd day was even less, more like watery brown cm and only at cervix when I checked (sorry tmi!)

I do usually have 4 days of spotting before af arrives, but I've had nothing since 3rd jan at all which is very strange for me! But I am certain it is just my body playing cruel tricks on me and af will most likely arrive again!!! In the next couple of days!

Unfortunately though I can't help but build my hopes up until af arrives full flow :/ silly me!!! And I know 5dpo is way early for implantation bleeding so it's highly unlikely!

Good luck! I will check in to see the outcome of yours and will let you know mine :)

Aww good luck to you too , this is torture isn't it lol , today I'm 7dpo and still have really sore boobs etc but that could be af I wish you could poas straight after sex lol I'm so impatient ! How long you been TTC x

Hi Ladies, I am in the same boat. I had a pin head of blood in the evening of 7dpo and then 8dpo and then some cream CM in between but not much. I am 10dpo today and I am not sure whats happening. Previous cycle I had brown discharge for 6 days prior to AF so trying not to get too excited. I also got a cold sore on 7dpo and then another one on the other side of my mouth on 8dpo!

Have had headaches and a full feeling in my lower abdomen, which feels funny sometimes. Its so strange. I just want to know whats going on. 7dpo is obviously about the time for IB but I am trying not to get my hopes up! Why does our body feel the need to do this eh?! I am holding out to test until the weekend but it is not easy let me tell you...........

Thanks! This is our 7th cycle! So getting rather impatient!! I think I'm about 10dpo today, bfn's for the last lots of days!!! And a little more brown spotting today, nothing major just a little. Sides of boobs are tender but usually do get very sore pre af! just waiting on full flow to be honest.....but there's always that tiny bit of hope for a bfp!!!! I just want it soooooo bad! I'm sure you both do too!!!

I caved and tested just now bfn at 10 dpo! I promised myself I wouldn't do it. Ach well now I'll wait until Friday/Saturday before testing again. Going to give acupuncture a go if af arrives on Sunday/Monday.

Sorry to hear that butler :( I'm trying not to test again as well, need to just try and wait it out til the wkend! Easier said than done! But with this spotting I should be expecting af any time soon, so no point wasting money on tests....sounds good in theory but I am so impulsive and could have a test bought and be poas in no time at all before my logic has settled in!!!! :/

Hoping 10dpo is just too early to tell, good luck! Hoping to hear good news from you by the wkend! What cycle are you on? I've heard good things re acupuncture! I'd be afraid of it though! Hate needles!

Thanks mama, it's been over a year now. Had blood taken on Monday to test progesterone and cup arrived today for sperm test. Shame husband just left for work for 2 weeks. Hoping I don't need it but trying to be realistic! I think I have my brown discharge type stuff that I have been getting on run up to af so think I might be out. Who knows, have felt weird this time round. Think that's what makes it so hard.

Hope you get a BFP soon

Awh it's so hard isn't it!!! I am on cycle 7 heading for cycle 8! It's Definately getting harder each month :( DH said he would make an app for sperm test soon so hopefully this month if we don't get our bfp!

I also have slightly brown cm, scant though, but this would also be usual pre af stuff :( hoping we are wrong and get a surprise bfp!!!!!

Yeah fingers crossed for BFP soon for us both.

It does get harder every time. Last month I was like a lunatic after 6 days of spotting I was sure I was pg.This month was my first relaxed month whilst dtd as we had already put in place appts for tests and really thought it was the one after weird feelings. It's just the 2ww that drives me insane and turns me into a lunatic. Lol. And breathe.

Ha what we like I'm glad it's not just me , I was walking into the bathroom telling myself don't be stupid don't test it's too early - next thing I know I'm poas lol !

It's so hard , I'm 8 DPO today and really feel like af is coming due on Friday x

I know it's nice to know there are others in the same position. My sister is pregnant just now and she said she thought she was going to get a really bad af before she was late - I holding out hope from that x

I know, I do tend to hang on to all the stories like that! Just to keep some hope!!! But I'm stuffing my face with chocs so certain af is on its way :(

Sorry to barge in on the thread but that is really interesting re implantation bleeding. I'm now 7DPO (from my first day of ovulation...it ended up being 48 hours and so I jumped DH both days!) and have felt sick late afternoon and early evening for the last two days, plus have had constant cramps for about 48 hours. Last night I had really bad shooting pains on my left side.

I've been checking for implantation bleeding for the last 24 or so hours (why didn't I think of white pants?) but nothing obvious. Does implantation bleeding happen each time or is that just one symptom you MAY have or does lack of it mean I'm not pregnant? Second question...how much should I be expecting?

It's probably first time naivety but I really think it might happen this month. My body feels different the last two days. I have no other flu symptoms so I don't think it's that. Probably all in my head. Boo Hiss. Not going to cave and do test until Sunday. Worried that FR will give false positive and AF not due until 15th.

Hi becca. Implantation bleeding is not that common but a bit more common than most people think. Supposedly 25-30% of pregnant ladies get it and it is just a very light bleed over a short period of time ie 1-2 days. However some reports show some ladies get a heavier bleed lasting longer, which brings the confusion whether it is af or IB.

I get spotting before af every month so always have the false hope about IB!! And so far it's always turned in to af!!! :(

Feel sick I've ate so much choc.....bleugh! :/ anyone had any further spotting?? I don't seem to have any tonight! Arrrrghhh here I go, getting my hopes up again!!! Swaying to and from every moment!

Hey mama my hubby's just cracked open one if those thorntons chocolate Santa things - would be rude not too lol nope apart from the spotting if that's what it was at 5 DPO . It was literally like 5 pinheads on the Parker nothing in underwear. I had one day if thick white cm then back to watery again. I've been taking my temp since last week and it's gone down from 37 to 36 I've read online that a temp drop can signify af on way ???? x

Haha loving this thread. Welcome justmarriedbecca. As above regarding the IB. I only found out about it because the last few cycles I have had a brown discharge for 3-6 days before af. Each time i convinced myself I was pg and each time af arrived. Don't worry if you don't get it, it's probably not what I'm getting either! Pfft

This time again it has been different with the tiniest bit of red blood when wiping on two occasions on two seperate nights.

Mama enjoy those chocs, I'm not a big fan of chocs but love a biscuit or crisps. Have had increased appatite today too. Hungry all the time.

No more spotting for me. Tmi alert......dtd with dh before he left and had pink cm after and nothing since. Will await the morning treat.....
